I wish the Saints ran up the score.

Should've been 500 yards passing for Brees, 700 yards total offense and probably 63+ points.

I think 11 posters from this site could put up a couple of TDs on our defense.

Just run Deuce on seam and post routes to pick on Heath. Throw Baby Legs in the slot to exploit Carter over the middle.

It's like cheesing on Madden.

There's your formula for success, ladies and gentlemen.

I hope Romo and Garrett did ask for more help on the lines, but they shouldn't be satisfied with 2 first rounders and one schlub porject in the 4th. They should be trying to build a great unit.

As for the DL, well we all know about the propaganda that was coming out of camp about how happy they were with it once it got healthy. Since Garrett doesn't really work on that side, I'm sure he just ate the cheese.
David Arkin shall return

Those are good routes for me. I had the quickness of a cat and the speed of a mongoose.

Huh? You mean the guy who was trying to tell us in August how fucking awesome we were going to be?

But you called the Saints beating us down? How the fuck did ya figure that one out Nostradamus? Surely no one else in the world thought the Saints would spank us. I bow to your superior intellect Sherlock.
Should have known better than to be optimistic where this team is concerned. Thanks for the slapdown.

Fucker.

I said yesterday that it felt like they held back.

It literally felt like I was watching a week 1 college game. You know when the big boys beat down some scrub team in a tune up game before getting into the meat of the season.

The Saints were the Oregon Ducks and the Cowboys were the Montana Grizzlies.

All of a sudden Vinny Curry leads the Eagles in sacks despite not much playing time and a bad scheme for him, personally.

So much for playing up to the competition for this group of cunts.
I knew that wasn't gonna happen.

As I said to 1big and Carp, the big difference between this game and the Broncos game is that we didn't go into that game with our offense playing like pure shit.

I knew the defense wasn't going to get many stops, but more importantly, I knew this sorry ass offense wasn't going to be able to move the ball enough to keep this one competitive.

This team is done.

Injuries are no excuse.
No they are not.

The Redskins had a ton of injuries on defense last year and yet they played much better defensively at the end of the year than we did, and they won 7 in a row to make the playoffs.

This team is just bad and poorly coached and that is ultimately the cause of its poor play.

The Saints were also without 6 key players on their defense yet they somehow manage to play decent defense.

This is going to sound weird considering what is transpiring tonight, but every remaining game on our schedule is winnable.
WGAS?

Do you even want them to win those games?

This team is awful. The absolutely worst thing that could happen to this team is for them to somehow still win the division with 8 wins and playing as badly as they are right now.

We'd go into the playoffs and get destroyed by whoever we play, but that fake division title will still be good enough to bring the entire staff back in Jerry's eyes.

Is that what you want? More of this crap?

I think the Cowboys lost at NY, then come home and beat the Raiders, then lose at Chicago. Rodgers will be back for our game so that's a loss, and I think they lose @ Washington as well.

That puts us at 7-9 and I think that's enough to miss the playoffs in this division. We need to flush every turd off of this coaching staff and the only chance we stand of doing that is if the Cowboys fail to make the playoffs.

A 49-17-like blowout against the Giants will do us good in the long-term. 49-17 against the Saints can be explained as, "well, it's the Saints."

49-17 against an 0-6 Giants team that needed a nearly pick-6 and blocked punt TD to beat the Raiders...eye opener.

It's time to just the rip the bandaid off.

Even with injuries, a competent GM would have solid backups and quality coaching staff. We have neither. But that's what happens when you trade 2nd round picks to move up for an average CB. Or when we consistently draft mediocre TE's in round 2 and undrafted FA types in round 4. And when you are more concerned with your comfort level and power instead of wanting to hire the best available coaches.

Any guesses how long Mr. Glass is going to be out? Defense was completely different when he left.

So nothing official yet but it sounds like Lee is going to at least be out for the Giants. Does anyone have Urlacher on the Batphone?

What's pathetic is Lee, Murray and Claiborne all have the same nickname. And I doubt Lee will be back before December.

Claiborne shouldn't be lumped in with them. He didn't have an injury history in college and until this season his injuries have been minor. The other 2 miss months at a time.
