I wouldn’t say I’m satisfied with our offensive performance this week.
No I'm not thrilled with it. But we moved the ball with ease for the most part. Just killed too many drives with stupid shit. You also have to understand the Chargers killed a lot of clock on us. So the offense didn't have a lot of chances either. We punted how many times?

Amari Cooper with that key 12 yard son-of-a-gun catch with what you'd call the GW-catch to get us 7 yards from our eventual FG attempt.

Need to get a replay of that.

Yeah he had a quiet game but the Chargers made a real effort to double our two WRs. It's why the run game was open and why our receivers had timid games. The Chargers picked their poison and it's where we miss Gallup. When we needed it though in the big moment he came up huge.

Give a game ball to Steele too. He was playing against an All Pro talent and I thought he did good.
Yea Steele was actually amazing, he was left 1 on 1 with Bosa several times and held up fine, and he actually rooted him out in the running game without help a few times.

Seems as if the coaching staff was right, I don't think Collins could've done much better honestly.

The run defense was stout as well. Run defense has done a complete 180 from what we saw in 2020. IMO, it's been the most impressive aspect of our defense these first couple of games.

Agreed. They have a lot of holes in pass coverage still but surprisingly the run defense has been solid.

Yep and against a pretty good team in fact.
Yeah, I dont get all the frustration. I don't feel like we got away with one.

We beat a AFCC-quality team. Herbert made some Pro Bowl throws. I'm happy with this win.

We bend-but-dont-break and only allowed 17 points (and this is with Jaylon playing a lot of snaps). Dak commanded the offense and looked good again.

It's funny. I feel like Chargers fans could be harping on the same shit we did about from last week's Tampa loss.

Sadly probably only Gregory and Wilson will be back next week. Gallup, Gallimore, Lawrence and Collims are still going to be out for at least a week or two. Or way more for a couple of them.
I bet our boy Golston plays next week. Sounded like he was close this week but I guess they thought he hadn't had enough work yet.

198 total rushing yards

Zeke 16 for 71
Pollard 13 for 109
CeeDee for 13
Cedric for 5

Take away the 48 yards end-of-half for Dak and he only had 22/26 for 189 yards passing.

Eeesh. what do you make of that?
Are folks still questioning Pollard?

Nothing other than we game planned correctly both weeks.

Still think Philbin and Mike know what they're doing. I've been watching the MM press conferences and he almost sounds like an OL coach with as much as he talks about them.

I must eat some crow, he did very well. He seems to have made a huge jump in year 2

I don’t think anybody is questioning him as far as the role he is in. He is a very good 2nd RB, change of pace guy.

The only questioning I’ve seen would be him in a lead back role. And I agree with that. I don’t think he’d be nearly as effective as a starter.
