If anything, Congress should seriously consider looking into what grounds are necessary to invoke the 25th Amendment.

I'm not convinced he did break the law, and I am 100% convinced he didn't do shit worthy of being impeached on the second one.
And that’s a fair position to take. I believe that he broke the law, but I don’t believe that the action was remotely severe enough to warrant any punishment. Hell, presidents likely break laws like that all the time. The only difference is that Trump got caught. Had he not been such a sniveling piece of shit and made himself a lightning rod for controversy, no one would’ve taken any notice.

As much as I’d like to see him go, the thought of President Harris terrifies me.
It does me, too, but this shit can't just disappear without something being done. This quite possibly is the worst thing I have ever seen a president do in my lifetime.

How could Harris be much worse? They have their agenda turned up to 11 already. And it's not like Joe is actually running anything, he's just the front man who reads the teleprompter every once in a while.

I honestly can’t think of anything worse that I’ve seen in my lifetime. And I’m not sure what’s worse: the fact that we’ve been engaged in that bullshit war with no real strategy to ever win it, Congress’ willingness to perpetuate it (which helped lead to the Patriot Act), Trump negotiating with those terrorists and releasing 5000 members of the Taliban, or fucking Biden following through with that agreement against the advice of military leadership. It’s been an utterly embarrassing, 20 year long shit show that cost good people their lives and raped us of our liberty and our tax dollars.

Don’t ask that question. Don’t EVER ask that question. Because the Democrats will be happy to answer it for you.

Don't forget Obama arranging the trade that released 5 top generals in exchange for a soldier that went AWOL. One of those generals just led this takeover.

Excellent point. I had indeed forgotten about that.

He didn’t break the law. The only witnesses testified their feelings, not facts.

Here is their bullshit mission statement:

OSAC's Mission and Values:

As threats continually arise and evolve across the world, U.S. organizations require a trusted network to maintain peak awareness and readiness to respond. OSAC is dedicated to maintaining strong bonds and collaboration between public and private security professionals for the broadest perspective and widest scope of support.

We strive to continually learn from one another and reinforce each other’s safety. Our peer networking groups focus in on specific industries and regions and are co-led by representatives from both the U.S. Department of State and private-sector organizations, operating abroad. This two-way partnership is key to staying informed and secure. OSAC members can reach out to our analysts directly with requests for analysis and benchmarking around specific issues of concern. Regional security officers can get better informed by those working within the facilities we’re committed to protect. And all OSAC members can keep in touch with each other at all times through dedicated communications channels.

OSAC is accessible. We have over 150 Country Chapters in nearly every country in the world and all OSAC events and resources are free of charge, ensuring corporate, nonprofit, academic, and faith-based organizations of every size can get involved.

The core mission of this unique global security community is to provide critical support during times of crisis and an invaluable ongoing exchange of information and best practices that will empower members to stay informed, connected, and better able to manage and mitigate risk.

So my neighbor is currently a Captain in the 82nd Airborne and he’s at the airport in Kabul as I type this. It will be interesting if I ever get any stories out of him when he gets back.
