The big message is that they are cheap and paranoid about the cap. Other teams like KC can go into the red and you don't see them making roster choices based on economics.

And drafting to find the 2-5M guy does not make sense. They did not have to tender him a contract.

I agree. Then again I don't know what you are going to be able to afford in FA when your QB makes 40 and your don't draft one.

I agree, does he really do more for you than Garrett Gilbert? He may have more starts but they are similar caliber guys in my book.

Driskel is a lot more mobile though. But since we have likely taken any designed runs for Prescott out of the playbook...probably does not matter.

A compound fracture of the ankle? I am sure there have been some. And Smith was different. His issues were the staph infection and multiple surgeries.

They should have already been able to make that determination before bringing him in for a visit though.

To my knowledge, he's not hurt. This might be different from Hooker when they brought him in for a temp check on his health and didn't like it.
