He has so many picks this year, there is not damn telling what that sheep fucker will do.
Yeah, it seems at the moment it would be hard to mess up pick 2 (though this team seems to love projects), but round 3 is going to make or break us in 2021.

Going to be pressure to clean out a good chunk of this draft’s depth. Hit on all three, and we are likely set for a strong playoff run barring health issues. Grab some stoutness in the middle, OL depth, and a rusher or secondary help.

Reasonably assuming the Giants and Bears suck next year, Giants could have two Top 15 picks and maybe enough ammo to replace Daniel Jones.

I mean if we can nail day 2, day 3 becomes really easy. Just take the top guys on your board regardless of position. Basically throw a bunch of darts at the board.

Waitafrigginminute.

Didn't you just tell us a week or so ago while stumping for Pitts, that it didn't matter what we did in the draft this year regarding our defense, it wouldn't make a damn difference in our playoff chances this year?

What is wrong with your butthole? Having a week long sloppy joe isn’t normal.
Just a really bad stomach bug I think.

If Parsons can get his hip swivel fixed (which I think can be coached into him) he could be phenomenal. Dude reminds me of Jordyn Brooks from Tech. Just flies all over the field.

If we hadn't traded with the eagles, the giants would have just taken smith. he was coming to the division either way. at least we pulled a 3rd rounder off of a division rival in the process.
Yea he was coming to the division one way or the other, so whatever.

This isn't a homer issue.

Howell's numbers are eclipsed by like, Trevor Lawrence and Deshaun Watson and that's it.

He's legit.

He may not be the first overall pick or the first QB taken, but you can take it to the bank that he is a first round pick in next year's draft.

He's WAY better than the schlubs who just went last night like Mac Jones, Trey Lance, and probably even Justin Fields and Zach Wilson.

I am not kidding when I say I'd trade Dak for Howell next year. I am that sold that he is a top shelf NFL QB.

Howell also has "it." He has that moxie, that gunslinger mentality, he converts fourth and 22 like it's no big thing. Ice water in his veins.

I believe I felt we’d improve the defense whether we took Pitts or not.

We aren’t creating a Super Bowl winning defense, but we can be as good or better than we were in 2018

Mac Jones numbers are better. Joe Burrow's were better. I'm not really sure where you are going with this numbers thing.

I actually like Howell a little. But your homerism for Trubisky makes me want to pick the guy apart. I actually think Howell is a solid prospect. Probably a little on the short side but 6'1" for a QB isn't a major disability or anything either. Sort of a slow delivery in my opinion. But most of the other stuff looks good to me. And unlike guys like Wilson and Lance this year I think by the time Howell enters the draft he will have a good body of work to judge him from.

I wouldn't put him up there with Lawrence or Fields in this draft. But I could see him in the class of a Lance, Wilson or Mac Jones. And yes I know that Fields was drafted lower than Wilson and Lance. But to me Fields was the second best QB in this draft. I'm sure the Bears will ruin him though. That place is a QB black hole.

Absolutely, with 4 picks on day two we have a chance to really nail this thing. But we can't fuck around and waste picks. We need a DT, corner and safety pretty desperately with 3 of those picks.

If we hit 2 of those positions with guys I like I'll be very happy. Asking for all 3 with good players is probably asking too much.
I don’t think we’re so desperate at CB that we must improve there.

Multiple front seven guys will make a bigger difference long term than CB now.

We do need a safety, though.

I'm curious which corner we really like. I'd love Asante Samuel Jr. right here. I think he is by far the best corner left. Wouldn't shock me though if it was someone like Kelvin Joseph, Aaron Robinson, Campbell or Melifonwu.
I am betting it is Campbell or Melifonwu if our Pro Day attendance is any indicator.
