You must’ve been so popular with the ladies. Coming over to borrow your crayons. They color so lightly and effortlessly as they spin the crayon in their hands to keep a sharp edge.

not mine. I had to drop kick the paper and choke it into accepting the color. My crayons had to be mashed into It and left a repulsive stain. My pictures always looked like the inside of a porta-potty, lumpy and didn’t mix.
And everyone wanted to use the built in sharpener.

I can’t stand orange soda as an adult but used to love me some Orange Slice as a kid. That shit was payday only.

Orange Fanta rest of the time.

also remember the rich kids getting Crayola crayons. The big box with the built-in sharpener. Fuck those kids. I always had the free restaurant ones or Roseart.
Huge fail bringing up orange soda without mentioning Orange Crush. That stuff was great back in the day.

I'm just now realizing that the quality of crayons matters.

fuck, man, teacher would teach red and yellow crayons make orange. I’d take my restaurant reds and yellows. Looked like yellow cat roadkill

Couldn’t draw a proper looking sun until I was 9 when dad got a promotion. Too late by then.

That’s okay. Dad got me where respect mattered.

I didn’t get the Spaulding basketball, but I never had bring those USAstar or whatever cheapy bright orange basketballs to the courts. I’d get a legit ball but maybe the unofficial brand like Wilson. With that, at least I’d have a chance rolling up to a court shoot around and I’d be okay once I sank a couple long jump shots.

The real ballers would show up empty-handed and they’d be tossed a ball when they walked on the court.

Crush was good, can’t hate on Crush. But a 7th grader walking onto 9th grader turf and sitting at one of their tables required some refined Orange Slice

Jim Kelly WAS a damned good QB. I dont believe I ever saw the guy quit.
Kelly played in that terrible weather in Buffalo so he may not have looked the prettiest (though the numbers were there) but I actually remember him at Houston in the USFL and thinking how incredibly accurate he was down the field... like one of the better QBs I've ever seen at that.

You know what really sucks? Even if Dez got that catch, I guarantee Rodgers drives down the field and scores.
This 100%. Seems like people remember it as being 30 seconds left or something when Dez made the catch, but there were four minutes left. No question Rodgers scores easily on that sorry defense. He had zero problem moving down the field and burning up all the clock after the ruling.

Also, as recently as a couple years ago this grocery store near me had a vending machine outside with RC Colas for 25 cents. That's right, one quarter in 2018. It's not the same as back in the day but that was some good stuff. Lots of caffeine, too.

Slice was ok, but it pales in comparison to Orange Crush.

We’re not doing this. Stop bringing this shit up

Packers and Steelers just got trounced from the playoffs. Can’t we just enjoy it without bringing up pain.
