This was a slugfest, though. You could see both teams getting physical but the offenses were focused to the point it didn't matter as much. Best kind of game, really.

Last team with time to drive was going to win.
Yeah the game could have gone either way. My position in all of it was to simply say Mayfield is a good QB. That rankled some folks. It was an outstanding game to watch but made a statement about both teams defense.

god damn, just give the man some of Armstrong's snaps. I dont get the fascination with him. I literally NEVER see him make a play, and moreso relative to QB pressure.
The front office loves Armstrong.

Do the math.

Could the Cowboys coaching staff work the Senior Bowl? Potentially. With staff changes expected with the New York Jets and maybe with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals, the Cowboys could be in line work the game with Mike McCarthy assured of returning in 2021. The Cowboys coached the 2016 Senior Bowl and Jerry Jones thought there was an advantage in Jason Garrett’s staff working directly with prospects.

It makes sense. They have a similar faith in Terence Steele that I have yet to comprehend. To be fair, with Steele, there are no viable alternatives it appears.

I would love that. Especially this year where the draft seems a bit harder to judge.

Randy Gregory has played seven games this season since coming back from suspension and has been credited with 12 tackles, two sacks, a tackle for loss and 12 pressures. “I think overall, I’ve had a pretty solid comeback,” he said. “Obviously it came midway through the season so I’m still even at this point kind of getting my feet under me but I’m just continuing to get better in practice and hopefully putting that out on the field on gameday.”

Nolan should be gone but knowing these idiots they'll think they can just run it back with the same talent and a different DC and get a different result.

They need to get rid of Nolan and aggressively address a few positions via free agency and the draft.

God, Steratore is such a ham. Look how proud of himself he is as he takes that card away and walks out to make the signal.

the 'sealed fate' is usually indicative of impending death, which is a good thing in this situation.
As long as it's his impending death and not our impending death as fans. But yeah I really hope it's true. I probably would have already cut the guy. I wasn't a big fan when he was hired and everything I have seen since shows me why he is a terrible defensive coordinator.

Schultzy is definitely one of the few good surprises of the 2020 season.
