@AdamSchefter: Dallas Cowboys are the leading contender to face Jaguars next year in London, per sources. An announcement could come as early as Thursday.

----------

This pisses me off. Either we lose a home game (unlikely) or I lose out on an opportunity to see them at a "local" away game.

I hate any of the NFL teams playing in London. I think it's stupid.

Feh. As long as it doesn't mean losing a home game, don't care. According to Jerry, absolutely not and we know the Jags will be rented over there every year.

Pretty sure Goodell will change this now that he knows you will be inconvenienced.

Don't worry about losing HFA, because it's close to a guaranteed win.

The NFL is trying hard to force the Jags on them. The problem is the NFL is trying to gain popularity by throwing the worst NFL team at Europe repeatedly.

At least you can feel sure this won't be a home game of ours.

But its dumb as shit.

I can't wait to see the crazy skit with Garrett and the Royal Guards...who will change their facial expression first?

I bet Jerry lobbied for this. Gotta grow the brand, ya know.

I know the league badly wants to put a team over there permanently but I just don't see that working.

I don't mind playing a "road" game in London, although playing it's not like playing in Jacksonville would be particularly difficult in the first place.

At least we don't lose a home game. But it is a disadvantage for any team not on the East coast.

teams with good home attendance probably will not be farming out their home games to London. Neutral site games might be a good business move for teams that suffer from blackouts.

I went to the game in London in 1986. Cowboys - Bears. Wow, that was a long time ago.

They should just go back to having an NFL Europe and be done with it...

Ouch. Not a game I would have liked to attend.
In retrospect, since it was a two day trip to get there, a pre-season game and most starters didn't play; yes. But at the time, it was exciting. First "NFL" game played in Europe I believe.
