Productive session for Devin Smith in tight red zone work with three touchdowns. He perfectly snatched a pass to prevent Trevon Diggs from pulling the ball free. A few times other receivers were not as strong at the point of attack.

Jaylon on the weakside makes alot of sense if it frees him up to just use his speed and fly around. His problem is when navigating through trash and getting caught up in the wash trying to read/work his way around OL to find ball-carriers.

That's where you see his gimp leg at it's worst, when trying to start/stop and change directions subtly in traffic, when he can just fly around in space he still has that same explosiveness/athleticism.
I wonder if Smith has reached his max lateral mobility in his long recovery from injury. Perhaps he wont get any better than he is currently, and we have to make the best of what he is today.

positive reports on both Smith and Wilson. If accurate, that would make a nice 5 man depth chart.

I really liked Darryl Worley coming out of college and hoped we'd draft him.

For a somewhat under the radar signing, I think he's going to be one of our FA signings that is most impactful and pay big dividends for us.

His signing and the drafting of Trevon Diggs and Reggie Robinson could completely overhaul our CB room in one offseason and turn it into a team strength.
