Why is Morton higher than Romo?Staubach>Aikman>Meredith>White>Morton>Romo>Prescott>The other guys
He was easily the worst punter in the league last year. There's no excuse not to replace him. There's no question there are better punters out there. Hell, Colquitt was below average and he'd be a big upgrade.I would hope we at least bring in another punter to compete. Seems like there have to be better options in this world for us instead of Chris Jones.
Because people get so wrapped up in their manufactured Romo hate that they lose all common sense. Why is Morton higher than Romo?
Took Dallas and Denver to the Super Bowl. Why is Morton higher than Romo?
Romo is easily third. Romo’s ability is on par with Aikman Staubach, but Romo seemed to be cursed with timing. Romo had talent around him, just didn’t support him in the right timing.I think I'd put Romo third.
He had some talented teams but he also had some bad hands. And it's not like Danny White's teams were garbage. They were loaded too.
Also it was just a different era. I think Romo was just pound for pound a better player than most of the rest just due to the era he's in.
Whoa now, homie.Romo’s ability is on par with Aikman Staubach
Or I simply have an opinion you don't like, because you think that I ranked a certain quarterback (who I happened to like) too low.Because people get so wrapped up in their manufactured Romo hate that they lose all common sense.
He was 3 yards per punt worse last year than he was the year before so maybe he was hurt.Brad Sham kept insisting Jones was hurt at the end of last year... his back, I think? But I wonder if they can tell he's recovered and would be okay this year.
Otherwise, yep, no reason to not replace him.
Fair opinion.I just think, especially Romo, was a better QB.
he had such limited postseason success, it will always taint his statistical excellence.Fair opinion.
Romo was a good QB, consistently a top ten-to-twelve QB in his era.
Is him being Mexican particularly relevant?
First CeeDee Lamb, now this?![]()
Not so fast. Willie Blade was not the pick, he was taken in the regular draft. The pick was Darren Benson.Yup, the 2001 NFL draft.
We had a compensatory 3rd we used on Willie Blade. It was one of the years we were missing a first from the Galloway trade.
Bam! Memory isn't shot yet.
Clarify to mean peak ability. Romo 2014 was on par with any peak year Staubach or Aikman had.Whoa now, homie.
Not all on him, of course (Garrett clammed up in the playoffs).he had such limited postseason success, it will always taint his statistical excellence.
Well considering he was playing in a Mexican league and not American college football, maybe. Is him being Mexican particularly relevant?
