With the off-season additions of McCoy, Poe and Gallimore, I believe Big Mike's appreciation for beef on defense may very well turn a glaring weakness into a strength.
Now, none of these guys are Aaron Donald, but their impact should help all three phases on defense...

defintely great to see, usually it was band aid with the thinking "lets hope it works"

MM seems to be putting together a great off season. lots of work to still do but if this draft is any indication , hes setting us up nicely for a good season.

I only wish it was two DTs and one CB instead of the reverse.

Gotta believe Hill fucked that possibility up a bit.

Hill still Could possibly give us something. It’s only been a year.
Here's to hoping. Call that signature Marinelli move a miracle bonus if it pans out.

In the mean time, Diggs WR ball skills are very intriguing.

Moore just said the Cowboys might even have had Gallimore ahead of Diggs on their board, but they knew the corner wouldn't last much longer while the DT might be there later.

I like Gallimore well enough but I think that would have been a little too early for him.

Gallimore is an admitted jack of all trades with potential to be more. He hustles and pursues well side to side.

I think there's a lot of development before we can count on him to play either 3T or 1T. I didn't feel that way with Madubuike. I thought he could contribute meaningful snaps at 3T right away

I think Gallimore will start off as a third down rusher inside while McCoy is the primary 3T on early downs.
Maybe Hill shows some kind of pulse and can get a handful of snaps too.

I think Hill is supposed to be behind Poe at the 1T

I hope they can salvage Hill. But given the current conditions of the country (mandatory stay at home orders) I doubt Hill is doing things on his own to work on his shortcomings.

He's definitely not one of those self-driven guys who will find a way to improve on his own.

Hopefully it will be safe enough for off-season activities to ramp up sometime soon, and maybe a little fear and accountability will wake him up. He has legitimate talent and a super quick first step. If he fails, it's because of a lack of work ethic...not God-given ability.

I don't question his talent, it's the work ethic that's always been his biggest issue. Remember the Cowboys had him sign some type of work ethic contract before they even drafted him last year.

It was stupidity on their part to even use such a high draft pick on a player who needed a "work ethic contract".

Oh, definitely.
They treated that pick like a lottery ticket, not wise.

It wasn't even that. It was a babysitter contract that Marinelli bailed on damn quick.

Name for me the last time you have ever seen anything like this ever pan out. Okay, loser...here I am, asking you to pledge your effort.

I mean, what kind of shithead coach even does that? Ever hear of that resulting in a great career...for anyone?
