Frankly I think everyone should get to play by the same rules and we shouldn't rush to judgment with this stuff without all the facts. Really this is about calling out people's hypocrisy more than anything. No one should be trampled by an unfounded accusation but it seems like people want to do exactly that when it favors their side.

The more I have thought about this the more I think it would be a huge mistake if they do. They would alienate a huge part of their base that voted for him.

I'm not being political or insensitive to Biden's health but this guy has no business running for president

The Democrats have very little choice at the moment to showcase anyone else. They had to squeeze Sanders out and when they did it left only one candidate. Bloomberg was a flop. None of the others in the debate carried any momentum. The final blow was when Obama endorsed Biden. The only other horse in the race potentially was Hillary but now she can’t get Obama’s endorsement even if she decided to get in it and the way things are currently positioned Biden is where the donkey resides. Any further changes will make even the staunchest of Dems throw up their hands.

Squeezing Bernie out was their latest mistake. Bernie had a chance (albeit a small one) of beating Trump. Biden stands zero chance. Trump will destroy him in the debates and the only policy Biden has put out there has been gun control. That will not go over well.

I don't think Bernie had any chance. I think Biden's chances are better.

I think their biggest mistake is not pushing hard for Klobuchar or Buttigieg instead of Biden though. Both had early momentum, are articulate, and are relatively moderate and therefore have a chance at broad appeal.

The only chance Biden has is if the majority of America doesn't pay attention at all and they just go into the voting booth based on name recognition. He is literally just a empty sock puppet at this point that the Democrats are hoping to control enough to not fail miserably. Biden would be beyond bad for this country at this point. Democrats like to pick on Trump but Biden would be an utter disaster that the Country would be worse off for having as President.
