I question if some of this shit is even real, or if it’s conjured up to rile people up.

At a time like this, not even the dumbest among us would see any upside in releasing violent criminals into a climate of economic uncertainty. What way would they have to take care of themselves? How would they provide food and shelter? Halfway houses?

I don't see the purpose of reading twitter except maybe for sports shit or celebs if that's your thing. You see some of the worst shit on it. People are just so horrible. I saw people mocking Chris Cuomo for having the virus and wishing his family gets it. Of all the CNN guys, he gives the most airtime to the other side. Not to mention, that's just shitty.

Yeah people who get their news from twitter and facebook are basically prone to believe just about anything.

I will add, COVID19 is a HUGE problem in prison and it's ripping it's way through them. You'd hate to see people locked up for non-violent crimes like selling drugs die from this plague. Such a mess...

Prisons and homeless encampments. That’s where this thing is going to do the most damage, imo.

If the homeless start getting it, it’s going to be that much more difficult to combat the virus, imo.

They pale in comparison to the tidal wave of libs wishing death on Rush Lmbaugh or Rand Paul, or celebrating David Koch's demise.

This is why I own a lot of guns, and a lot of ammo. Never ever depend on the cops to defend you. That is your responsibility.

They have suspended all transportation on TTU campus until further notice. This is insane. Not to say they shouldn't. Just that this whole situation is crazy.

Pay how? Outside of economic sanctions, I don't see it.

If it’s proven that China severely downplayed the virus in the early stages, like they knew exactly where it was headed, they absolutely should be held economically responsible.

Be it crippling sanctions, whatever. Some foreign aid may be in order. Maybe some debt forgiveness?

We even have it happening here in Texas, a socialist judge in Houston is trying to let a bunch lose including one who killed a cop. Luckily our Gov. is blocking it

it astounds me they come out & announce stuff like this. What is the benefit to doing so?

recently in Dallas, the city attorney came out & said he would not to prosecute thefts of personal items under $750 that are stolen out of necessity.

Why the fuck do you announce this?

I am open to him having discretion in unusual and extreme cases but this strikes as a green light for anyone that can read or watch the news to steal and simply say it was out of necessity
