In my perusing around different information on the Corona virus it seems a scientist concluded that the vaping death incidents were more likely cases of Coronavirus. He theorized that the respiratory damage he observed could not have possibly been caused by vaping. Rather the victim already had respiratory problems from the virus and continued to vape and as a result died. Don’t even remember where I saw it now but it was interesting.
Ok boomer

Do I take it seriously, of course.

I take my one year old to the office. But what do you do with a 7 year old if they cancel school. Take off work too?
That's what grandparents are for. (If you're fortunate enough to have them close.)

Monday and Tuesday of this next week I’m going to have my 3yo and 7yo at work with us. Daycare and school is suspended for now and finding a sitter on short notice is not proving to be easy.

Funny you bring that up.

There was a greater response to that stupid concocted bullshit than there was to this real event.

Why? Oh yeah. Big tobacco had an issue with it.

Yeah my wife's mother usually watches when we need it. But man she would become a terror if it was for long.

Yeah I may be forced to do that at some point.

Anyone care to see the CDC numbers for the current flu season and then tell me what all this hullabaloo about the Coronavirus is all about? The news media needs to be arrested for promoting a panic pandemic.

Thank you. What I have yet to read is just how lethal this thing is. I have heard there is a 2.5% mortality rate, in which instance, who gives a shit? Seriously people, be it Swine Flu, Ebola, Avian Flu, whatever you want to call it, it hasn’t really amounted to a damn thing. This will be no different. And if i’m wrong, then the world is over and who cares anyway?
Who is running around saying we are going to die?

The impact is as much economic as anything else.

Yep. Blame the evil media.

China has a state-controlled media and they still had their economy brought to its knees.

The Coronavirus is essentially a non event in this country at this time and I am not sure how you think it has brought China to its knees. Its the panic factor that is causing the problems not the virus itself at this point.

Okay bro.

What the fuck ever you say.

It is no big deal.

I am not going to argue with someone who is mentally out of touch.

I don’t know about the legitimacy of this website, but looking at China’s stats, they appear to have all but eliminated new cases in a month.

With ~March 1st being our start, hoping we’ll curtail this by April 1st and then normalcy can gradually resume soon thereafter.

They took aggressive steps.

Not just giving people a week or two off and telling them to wash their hands.

They were fogging cities. They were making people register their temperature.

And, we live in America. Fuck that registering bullshit.
