Hatcher's interview is specific, and 💯 credible IMO. I can see where some would question the other account. But it sounds exactly like what we see, even as outsiders.
I posted this over at the Zone and some goofball dismissed it out of hand and responds telling me to name another ex player besides Hatcher that's criticized the org

So I posted the Troy Aikman interview below which he immediately hand waives off as being completely unrelated. Its fascinating how some folks are so defensive and unwilling to consider valid criticism and from all people Troy Aikman.

Aikman said the same thing except with a different flavor. But hey, it does not fit with the narrative so it gets waved off.

I swear a vast majority of our fanbase is actively interested in maintaining their view that Jones is the bestestestest owner eva and anything to the contrary can be blamed on things that can change. Like a head coach. Like players.

But the one constant that will not change until his death, no way man. That is just too difficult for some people to swallow.

Exactly!
And these meatballs will even defend Jerry. Only thing I can think of is that they aren't old enough to have seen our team run professionally and at a championship level. All they know is mediocrity.

New found respect for Troy. If Irvin and Emmitt could do this we'd be on to something.

Irvin would never shit-talk Jones. Jones came to his defense repeatedly throughout his many behavioral and legal struggles. He loves the guy. Emmitt is not as reflective as Aikman is. Frankly, just not as smart. He was a talent, not necessarily a great football mind. The ex-players who's opinion I respect are Drew, Troy, Woody and Romo. Staubach is a politician. Romo won't shit-talk Jones either though. Eventually he will roll on Garrett I think.

BTW, I like Hatcher but I don't take his perspective 100% to the house. I mean, it's his opinion but it's not gospel. I do think there was a bit of a racial divide on those teams for whatever reason.

I agree however Aikman is somewhat bitter about Jones because of how he thought he should have run things post Johnson and why Johnson left the team. Obviously he wanted Johnson to stay but I don’t think Aikman ever accepted the fact that Johnson actually wanted to leave. Aikman was totally frustrated about things in general and never got over it. Notwithstanding his feelings at the time of the blow up with Johnson and Jones, Aikman feels Jones should change the way he operates. He is long gone from the team so he should not use the media platform to continue his dissatisfaction. It’s a personal thing and it’s not professional decorum for him to voice a personal issue.while representing a professional position with the media. His dialogue goes beyond analysis. I know this won’t be very popular but that’s my opinion.

I would say he's been 100% correct in the criticisms he's made. It matters little to me why he's saying it.

Not questioning his accuracy just that he should use a different platform. I don’t think it helps his image to use a job as a commentator of football to air his subjectivity even if it’s correct.

He is commenting on the team and why they play the way they do. I dont think you have to just talk about the play on the field. That would be boring. Give me some insight or even a perspective on the team. It just so happens that he played for the Cowboys and is familiar with what's going on.

So... A football commentator shouldn't comment about football...?

and so it can be slung at me too when I get everyone riled up for my spelling of "jeri" (and I'm sure the many other things I write that piss folks off)

(I just meant a thumbs down option added to the "props" choices)

Done. I replaced the "Dur" with a thumbs down. You couldn't really tell what the Dur was anyway.

You are more intelligent than to respond like this unless you are being antagonistic. Nothing was said about Aikman commenting on football. It was about him airing his personal resentments as a commentator.
