This season was littered with head-scratching, mind-numbing decisions such as those.
His entire tenure was littered with those things, so the guy has no room whatsoever to complain about not being afforded this or that luxury.
In fact, I'd say it's quite the contrary. The fact that the Cowboys just went through their most unsuccessful decade as a franchise is because the guy was afforded the longest of leashes of any NFL coach during that same time period.
Off the top of my head, I cannot recall another coach who accomplished so little, was responsible for so many bad decisions and losses, displayed an inability to adapt and learn, being given so many opportunities to stick around.
And we haven't even gotten to the fact that a recurring theme under him was the offense becoming stagnant, predictable, slow-starting, and mundane. So if there is ANY place where the guy would have not a single leg to stand on in regards to not being allowed to do XYZ, it's the offense.
This arrogant and oblivious fuck has his head so far up his ass that he doesn't realize that he was the beneficiary of being given too much, not the contrary as he has come to believe.
