:lol:lol:lol

That is so awesome. Keep the tough questions going and don't let that geriatric motherfucker intimidate you.

BTW, he absolutely did hang up right after being asked if the players had given up on Garrett. That is fantastic.

Jerry's finally reaching a breaking point. He's always flowed with his bullshit salesman lines. Don't know that I've ever seen him lose his nerve like this. Personally I really think he's gonna bring in a big name. If he doesn't have a stroke first.

If I owned the team, I’d do some silly shit like hiring a fan to kick. If the position is going to be responsible for losing games with a pro handling it, what’s the damn difference?

He should bring in that female soccer player to do it.

If we had a fan base with any balls, they’d all stay home Sunday against the Rams. But we already know we have a bunch of Jerry nutthuggers and homers who are slurping up every word the old fucker says.
That’s the main reason there’s never been a reason to change. And never will be.

I’m not sure how to apply this standard to all the people who go to watch the Cowboys play. I find the vast majority of people in the local area as a general matter follow the Cowboys because they are fans of the team but who actually have a great dislike for how Jones has handled the team. Further there are a lot of fans of the team who go to the games to support the team and also are very much are against how Jones has mishandled the franchise.

While their attendance goes to line the pockets of the owner, still some have been fans of the team even before Jones became the owner and his conduct is viewed in a negative connotation by them but their desire to watch the team in person is still a desirable thing for most.

I am sure your comments regarding these fans are probably due to frustration of Jones, still in my opinion is an unwarranted depiction. I attended these games frequently when they played at Texas Stadium but since they team plays in Arlington I rarely go to the games now. I would like to because being there in person has a special feeling. The fan base is aware that Jones benefits even though he isn’t held in high regard but they are fans of the team and their support lies there.

I think it's more so casual fans that just go to the game for the experience but don't really care about the game. They like the Cowboys and enjoy football but they aren't really passionate one way or the other.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones goes after The Fan hosts in testy start to interview, gets dumped mid-call for swearing

Jones was clearly not in a great mood following the Cowboys’ Thursday night loss to the Bears.

Tensions were running high Friday morning after the Cowboys’ debacle Thursday night in Chicago.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM] got off to a rocky start with connection problems, and once the show did get on track, Jones made it clear his patience was running thin, going after the hosts of the K&C Masterpiece show.

Q: What answer do you have for how this team is playing right now?
Jones:
“We’re not playing very well.”

Q: Are you embarrassed? Are you embarrassed as an organization about how the team is playing?
Jones:
“Hey, get your damn act together, yourself. OK? Now we’re going to have a good visit this morning but settle down just a little bit.”

Jones then cut off the response to that before it could be completed.

“We have a lot to go over now go on with your question, but I’m going to give you the answers I want to give you this morning," Jones said, "and I don’t like your attitude to come in. I’ve been traveling all night and I don’t have the patience to jack with you today.”
The show eventually went on, with Jones touching on all things following the 31-24 loss on Thursday Night Football that dropped the Cowboys to 6-7. A little more than 10 minutes in, Jones was dumped by The Fan’s system for swearing twice, which program director Gavin Spittle came on to explain.

(No, Jones didn’t hang up on The Fan.)

The tone had certainly shifted by then, though. It was a question about head coach Jason Garrett’s job security that prompted the response from Jones that included his swearing.

Jones was reconnected with The Fan a couple of minutes later, and the show was back on.

Jerry Jones concludes testy appearance on @1053thefan on light note. Told to “go fix this thing, all right?” He laughed for a few seconds. “Yeah, and then I’ll move on to the country’s problems.” He dropped expletives earlier in appearance. Technical issues cut call at one point.
Jones later ended the interview on a more positive note.

“There’s nobody in the NFL that’s any more responsible for what’s going on out on the field than me,” Jones said. “I certainly have that kind of frustration as well.”

SportsDay’s Calvin Watkins contributed to this post.

Are there really only 25 or so people in the entire whole world that can kick a football decently?

There are more QBs out there than kickers? The one position people joke about not really being a real football player, but there are less capable human beings available than there are teams?

That’s crazy to me.

Yeah, I thought they were a dime a dozen too. We might have to draft one.

I’m going to have my wife video tape me kicking field goals and kickoffs at the local football field.

I need some suggestions for a hip-hop track to include on my game film.
