As far as Garrett coaching blunders go yesterday wasn't even that bad. The conditions were tailor made for a classic Belichick type game and ultimately we lost because of a blocked punt and some shitty officiating.

The ST's were a complete horror show, but in general the Vikings game was significantly worse and in the pantheon of shitty Garrett coaching displays yesterday is nowhere near the top. I also feel like the players were generally decent. Elliott ran well, the OL was solid against a great defense, the defense was good overall, and Prescott played well enough given the conditions, especially if a few of his big throws weren't called back by bullshit penalties.

But it just seems like the situation with Garrett is at the point of no return to where any display of incompetence is magnified because the jig is finally up on this moron.
What you can’t miss though is how overrated the Patriots are this season.

Dallas should have beaten them by ten and/or at least been in control most of the game.

Instead we’re unprepared for the elements and flying by the seat of our pants as a gameplan.

We play down to the competition and then gag the game away half the time.

Dak has the talent to be a top tier QB this year especially with the talent around him.

He doesn’t have the coaching. There’s no John Harbaugh, Andy Reid, Sean Payton, or even a Sean McVay.

He’s got... nothing

Cowboys anger Simms | Chris Simms Unbuttoned

(42:30) Film Deep Dive #2: Patriots 13-Cowboys 9 "I think Jerry Jones is sending a message."
(44:30) The Cowboys offense has Chris literally pounding the table.
(51:50) Does Chris blame Kellen Moore or Jason Garrett more for Dallas' struggles?

Every time he opens his mouth lately, he says something that just makes you wonder how on earth he has been an NFL head coach for over a decade and survived. Nowhere else but Dallas.

Just goes to show that Moore's being held back by Garrett. The fourth down decision clearly isn't his so I'm sure he is calling plays knowing Garrett has no balls.

Jerry Jones: “Those coaches are out there at my ultimate decision”

Posted by Michael David Smith on November 26, 2019, 9:39 AM EST

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants head coach Jason Garrett and his staff to understand that they’ll be out of work if Jones isn’t satisfied with their job performance.

Asked today on 105.3 The Fan how he feels about the coaching staff, whom he criticized after Sunday’s loss to the Patriots, Jones answered, “The same way that I felt then.”

Jones made clear that he will make the final decisions about the Cowboys’ coaching staff, and right now he doesn’t sound satisfied, suggesting that the Cowboys were out-coached by Bill Belichick and his staff.

“When you’re General Manager, which I am, those coaches are out there at my ultimate decision,” Jones said. “It’s very much within my realm of purview, if you will, to not only be standing there as an owner but be standing there as the General Manager who put the staff there to begin with. People seem to think it’s particularly harsh to have criticism and they think when you look at the other side of the field and call a job well done, that might mean that’s extraordinary criticism of the job you’ve done on the other side of the field.”

Jones said he’s beyond disappointed that the Cowboys lost on Sunday.

“Disappointed is not the word. There’s no question that we were given an opportunity, there were things we could have taken advantage of,” Jones said.

With five games remaining, Garrett is running out of time to impress his boss.

"Realm of purview".

Hope that the Jerruh-Garrett relationship gets publicly ugly.

Maybe...just maybe...the then-fired Garrett would share juicy, salacious stories about the one-eye-winkin salesman.

Please, 8oz baby Jeezus. After 12 years, Garrett has some dirt.

I’d definitely buy a tell-all book written by Jason Garrett. What would be a good title?

Look at this. The entire breakdown is good, but the punt block at 1:43 is epic. Look at how he knew from the wind direction what angle the punter would take, and so they loaded up the punt rush on that side. There's almost no one on the other side.

Meanwhile, we can't even communicate to our special teams when to fair catch or not, or to move up to catch short kickoffs into the wind.

It's also interesting to me that BB knows the names of every player, even bit players. He doesn't just say, "the end on the punt team" or "the safety"... He knows who all of them are.

Chris Simms has one of the world’s most punchable faces. I hate him almost as much as Joe Buck. I’m not sure why 🤔

Also shows what a liability Witten is as a run blocker on that first play.

My lord Cobb was wide open for a TD on the Cooper pick. Look at 4:40 on the Belichick video. Dak wasn't even pressured but spazzed because of the high snap. Sigh...
