By this point, I'd almost be ok with San Fran getting their sixth Lombardi this year. Just to rub Jerry's nose in some nostalgic, glory days shit!

Watch Jerry this week quote the reports that the Giants want to hire Garrett as an excuse to keep him :budd

A lot can be blamed for this loss.

Coaching, shitty officiating.

Dak’s performance ranks near the bottom IMO. My only criticism of Dak is that he didn’t run himself for the first down when we were inside the 20. It looked to me like he had room to take it into the end zone or at the very least, pick up the first.

Now watch this stupid hillbilly fuck fire O'Quinn and absolve his ginger puppet of all blame :picard

I don't think so. Grace time is over for JG.

I wouldn't be surprised if Garrett just peacefully leaves for another job once his contract is up.
Yeah it's won't be a "firing". His contract will just be up so it will be spun as a "mutual decision to part ways".

It'll be interesting to see if Garrett can land another HC job. There are some bad coaches out there so it wouldn't surprise me to see a team like Atlanta give him a call. Unfortunately for Garrett he won't have the support system he has in Dallas. Once he's outside the protective bubble of Jerry Jones he's going to have to provide tangible results in order to keep his job. He's about to find out what the other 31 NFL coaches go through. Which is why I think he'll be 3 years and out at as his next stop and that should put a bow on his coaching career.

I think Garrett will think the opportunity to take a 3 win team and make them an 8 win would be great. A fan base would love him for that for awhile. Until it never progresses further.

I think the pressure to win big here is too much for him.

Good point!
He's had Jerry's protection and blessing for years. That won't be the case anywhere else. You produce or you're gone.
