As an aside, Connor McGovern is going to be really good, I wouldn't be surprised if he beat out Williams at LG straight up as a rookie.
If there is an open competition.

Dallas loves to talk about it, but you rarely see it.

Yep

And just imagine if Pollard really ends up being a good returner. Or even a dangerous one.

Have we ever really had one since Deion?

I thought Dwayne Harris did a good job.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Harris left as the franchise's all-time leader on kickoff returns with a 26.5-yard career average and a single-season 30.6-yard average in 2013. He finished tied for second with an 11.1-yard career punt return average. He is considered to be one of the best special teams players in Dallas Cowboys history
I agree on Harris though I don’t think he was ever a guy teams were scared to kick to.
That added dimension would be awesome.
Yeah I think Pollard could be an excellent kick returner. It's unfortunate the NFL has made kickoffs an afterthought.
Interesting fact:
Third-round pick Connor McGovern was rated higher on the Cowboys draft board than Hill. The club didn't target him -- which explains why only scouts spent any time with him leading up to the selection-- but he was too good to pass up at No. 90.
"You keep drafting into strengths and you know what your strength is on a football team,'' executive vice president Stephen Jones said. "You don't want a strength to become something that's average quickly.''
Yeah, there was no call for that at all.
Yes, there absolutely was. We can all watch Thornhill pair with Tyrann Mathieu to upgrade the Chiefs secondary, meanwhile Hill at best is part of a "rotation" at DT with three or four other guys.
Hill had better not be just another try hard dude in the mold of Marinelli overachievers. No, this guy had better be a force in the middle; and if he is, then Im good with it.
He better be a David Irving type talent on the field. Otherwise I don't see the point in another Crawford/Collins type player with that pick. We need a high impact 3 technique otherwise we will be right back to that well again next year.
