Yes, getting an INT but then being part of a secondary that surrendered 400 yards passing and 51 points is definitely proof he's coming along as a shut down corner.
230+ of which were to backs and the TE. That's on our awesome coverage LBs. None of their WR's got 100 yards and one of their TDs was a ridiculously perfect back shoulder fade.

That's how they always operate. He didn't have a bad game like last week, but let's not use this as proof of his impending dominance.

No, we can't jump to a conclusion that's he's turned the corner just like people shouldn't have jumped to the conclusion that he was the biggest liability on the team. But she showed signs yesterday of being a better and smarter player. He ran closer with the WRs consistently and made the play on the ball when he needed to. It was a positive step in his development.

He was flat out bad previously, it was entirely more reasonable to assume he was floundering based off past performances (not to mention his benching) than it would be now to assume he's turned any sort of corner the day after the defense basically allowed Manning to do whatever he wanted.

I read nothing into his performance yesterday other than he did make a nice INT on an underthrown ball.

He'll have to play much better going forward to rehabilitate his image.

No we should just write him off and assume he's never going to improve his play after 20 games as a pro or so I've read.

No one ever said that.

Though we can come to the conclusion that it's moronic to invest heavily in CBs.

Claiborne clearly isn't worth a 1st and 2nd round pick, not to mention #6 overall.
