I will simply say this then I am done with this topic. Without Romo Dallas would have been out of the game in the first quarter. His positive attributes to the team heavily outweighs the negative aspects. Dallas will be in the playoffs this season and it will be largely due to Romo.
I predict because of Romo we will in a win and in game in the final week of the season against Philly. Then he will commit the boneheaded mistake to cost us the game and we can keep having this same discussion until he finally retires.

Someone will probably step on his toe or something. Dang the luck.

They were in a fricking zone and as soon as Escobar makes his cut, he's covered. A simple read that Romo should have recognized and dumped off from.

The defender from the right side of the screen did come off Witten, but there was still the guy camped out on top, so double covered.

The problem with that throw is that you can see Escobar slow down a step, so Romo didn't really hit him in stride. But if he did hit him in stride, the defender from the right could have made the play on the ball. Since he forced Escobar to slow up, the trailing defender was able to undercut it instead.

There was just no way he was fitting that ball in there.

Lot of bad on that play.

Wide open Murray.

Smith bullied into the pocket. Frederick beaten by yet another swim move only to have a late reacting Leary save Romo at the last second. Which is probably what made Romo feel he had to get rid of it.

Plenty of blame on the OL for that play also.

Easy to say when the only other option is Orton. But the problem is that we have tied our cart to Romo and haven't attempted to find a viable replacement and likely won't in the near future either.

Then dump it off, throw it into the stands and take the idiotic sack. Wait...he did that the play before.

Yep.

Why does Frederick keep getting beat by swim moves?

WTH is Waters doing? He completely abandoned the inside of the OL. Even I could have eventually swim moved past Frederick to create pressure.

One, you lied about the previous post being your last on the topic.

Two, of course it's easy to say we wouldn't have been within 20 points yesterday if not for Romo. Because that would've meant we had Orton in there. Unless you are saying no other possible QB in the world could've had us in the position we were in other than Romo. In which case I say that's BS.

In fact it looked like Frederick was expecting help to that side and didn't get it.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Waters was signed like 3 days before the season started and got no practice time.

Smart move, asshole GM.
