Okay, we can't acquire someone with no connection. Is he Marinelli's son-in-law or something?

Edgar doesn't sound white, so no relation to the Jones family. :art

He's a lifer ST guy. More of a 3-4 OLB than 4-3 DE, was slated to be Hali's backup in KC.

Sounds like that idiot Bisaccia stamped his little feet for help and got it.

Fuck Broaddus. I'm starting to detest this man to an unusually large degree.

No sense trading for an OL though.
Of course not.

Special teams is THE real problem. Did you see that in the preseason?

:lol

This team is so ass-backwards it makes me sick.

We have had entire drafts sacrificed to the two things from Parcells that Jerry apparently listened to: You Tight Ends and good Special Teams is a must.

Only Jerry Jones throws draft picks at career special teamers.

Just wait 'til you find out we gave up a third rounder for him.

Well isn't it obvious why Dallas wanted him? His name is Jones.

Cowboys trade for LB Edgar Jones

August, 31, 2013
By Tim MacMahon | ESPNDallas.com

Edgar Jones will join the Cowboys after being traded from the Kansas City Chiefs.

A source told ESPNDallas.com's Todd Archer that the Cowboys gave up a 2014 sixth-round pick for Jones and the Chiefs' 2014 seventh-round pick.

The 6-foot-3, 262-pound Jones is primarily a special teams player. He has 32 tackles and 1.5 sacks in six NFL seasons, spending the first five years of his career with the Baltimore Ravens before going to Kansas City last season.

Jones will fill the roster spot created by placing guard Nate Livings on the injured reserve.

Advantage: Fat Andy.
