Got it. You all knew Payton was going to be a great head coach. Good thing the archives are gone when most of you were indifferent with the hire when FJ hired him and were surprised he was actually getting head coaching interviews.

Most of you guys think you know a whole hell of a lot more about football than you actually do. At least I can admit I don't know squat.
Why are you even talking about this? I fail to see how this advances anything at all...you just look like a bitch.

Your post reeks of The Zone Carp, sad. Sorry to point out something you guys never saw coming. I'll remember to just hand out props to all of the experts on here and boost your already enormous football knowing egos.

No one said that any of us saw his success coming, you gigantic dishonest jackass. We just weren't as down on him as you think because most of the bitching was about Parcells' conservative game plans and sticking with injured vets that weren't playing well (like Testaverde and Rivera). I for one hated the playcaller by committee approach with OC duties split between Payton and Sparano/Carthon. I was really down on Sparano because of the performance of the OL and the way that it was set up.

I don't see anyone boasting at all...I just see an angry dude stirring up nonsense.

I'm not pointing the finger at you, but you are simply incorrect here.

Many people thought Sean Payton himself flat out sucked.

No, I don't remember who they were. They may be posters who are not even here any more. But there were more than a few people who thought that Payton sucked, in fact, thought Parcells' whole staff was no good.

Parcells had a lot of guys on his staff that I hated, for sure. Mike Zimmer was #1 on that list.
