Is the Baptist Church involved in the school at all or do they just claim to be a Baltist influenced university? If so, this is a real bad look for them too.

Good question. Their voting power demands that 75% of the board be Baptist and 25% be from the Southern Baptist Convention Board itself. So yeah, I'm looking for the Baptist to speak up about this.

I know them too well. I grew up with them and their lies. They believe anything they are given and they question nothing.

That's not the mainstream thought process I am familiar with. Certainly not the Southern Baptist.

It was a move that had to be made. Way too many stories of player misconduct going unchecked right up under his nose.

I don't think it should stop with the firing of Briles. If the NCAA has the power I'd like to see them lose some scholarships and receive a bowl ban for a few years.
