Is Parker ok?

To sit him that long has to make you wonder if he did further damage to the hammy.

Doesn't matter anyway. Spurs are not recovering from this.

I think he picked up his dribble and ran from the half-court line to the front of the rim. I counted about 8 steps.

I give Lebron credit, but at the end you have to credit Allen. Hit the big shot, Spoelstra called plays for him at the start of OT, huge foul shots, and played great D...really showed leadership out there. Big ups to Bosh too.

If any team were to be able to come back from that it's the Spurs, with that said, there's pretty much no coming back from a choke job like that.

Of course I'd prefer the Spurs to win but all along I haven't really minded the possibility of the Heat winning again. They seem weaker than last year and I'd have to assume that a playoffs like this will take even more out of them going into next season.

Instant classic. I haven't been that on edge watching a game I wasn't betting on in a long time.

Popovich had a rough night. Leaving Duncan and Parker out of key possessions down the stretch bit him in the ass.

Ginobili suddenly lost his handle. Miami's trapping and disruptive defense is pretty special, but Manu's a turnover machine right now.

Duncan went 0-5 in the 4th quarter and OT after pouring in an easy 30 through three. He wasn't getting as many touches early in the offense as the guards took over.

Miami's offense works better with Wade on the bench. Everyone knows the play and it still works. Set a high screen for LeBron to drive and finish or dish it if he's double teamed. It's methodical. Wade gets touches and settles for step back jumpers when he's in there. His quickness isn't all there for him every time.

Manu Ginobili's bitch ass has already pretty much thrown in the towel, at least mentally. Last night he said he doesn't know if they'll be able to get up for Game 7 after such a deflating defeat. What kind of loser talk is that? If LeBron said that they'd crush him from now until he won another title.

As for the Heat winning it, I don't really have a problem with it either. It's their "fan" base that really pisses me off. 80% of so called Heat fans can't name 3 players other than Wade, who were on the roster prior to LeBron's arrival. Yet here they are whooping it up as if they've been a fan since day 1. My Facebook timeline is filled with a bunch of their fake fans who I know for a fact weren't fans of the Heat until 2010.

Also, did you guys see the video of all the "die hard" Heat fans leaving the game early then trying to get back into the stadium after they realized the Heat had come back to force OT?

I give Spoelstra big props for last night. He had the balls to sit Wade for the bulk of the 4th and during the course of the game he found a way to hide Mike Miller in the pick and rolls with Parker. Also, coming out of TOs he draws up excellent plays to get easy baskets. He's a better coach than he is given credit for.

He is and you knew he had to be. Riley isn't going to put a team like this together and just hope they can win with someone in over their head. He had some growing pains, but he's a solid coach.

That said, there's no excuse for Pop getting outcoached by him. His strategy most of the game was solid, like putting Diaw on Lebron. But when it got to crunch time, he choked as bad as the guys who missed free throws.

The Celtics overplayed their hand with the Clippers. Getting Jordan and a first rounder for Doc and Garnett would have been a deal I would have taken. Instead they wanted to throw in Terry and Lee, wanted two first rounders...and Bledsoe. Way too much. I'd re-engage for the smaller deal I mentioned...I could see Doc walk away and then Garnett just retire because of it.

If the trade went through and the Clippers had another 55-60 win season, which is very likely with Doc Rivers as HC and the roster talent, those picks would probably have been i nthe 25-28 range.

Not a big loss by NBA standards. And if you're the Clippers you have to make that move to prove that you're not the same old Clips. Show your fan base that you're all in to win one.

I'm kind of partial to your 2001 draft. Joe Johnson, Joe Forte, and Kedrick Brown.

It was a solid draft. Anytime you can get 2 all stars in a draft without having the top pick is a win. I do remember have such high hopes for Forte though.

I just think that the Celtics need to get the rebuilding underway ASAP and this would be the first step in that process. Then you could look at deals for Rondo and Pierce. They have pieces to expedite a rebuild, but Ainge prides himself on being Mr Smart guy.

I don't think Rondo or Pierce are going anywhere, whether Doc and Garnett are traded or not.

That is stupid. Pierce has very little left and Rondo is the guy they could get a could haul for. It hinders the rebuild because they will have a better record with them both on the roster and push down where they are picking in a pretty excellent draft next year.
