About time the referees started calling stupid penalties on the Eagles.

Very disappointed in the Bills. They were supposed to take care of the Giants.

I never bought into that nonsense that JJ Watt was the best single player in the NFL, but for those who foolishly did, this season ought to put an end to that line of thinking.

Going back to last season, the guy is on a unit that constantly gives up tons of points and yards every week. Now I know the guy can't do everything and he doesn't cover in the secondary, but you can't be given the label of best player if you can't elevate the play of those around you or keep your team/unit afloat by yourself.

You can't get a Texans fan to listen to you when you tell them that Brady and Rodgers are far better players and far more important than JJ because they have a history of making mediocre players look better or single-handedly carrying their team. On the other hand, JJ Watt will have 20 sacks and everyone will go crazy, but those stats come in blowouts or at times in games when the damage has been done.

I'd love to have the guy and I do believe he's the best defensive player, but the best player in the NFL? No way. If he were, he'd make the guys around him better and wouldn't week-in and week-out be part of a unit that does the team no favors.

Yea, too many people got ahead of themselves after their week 1 performance - which now looks like it has more to do with the Colts being bad than the Bills being improved.

Speaking of early observations, it's an Andy Dalton led team, coached by Marvin Lewis, and it is the Bengals, so there's only so much faith you can have them, but they do look very very good through the first 4 weeks of the season.

Just like 3D Tvs right?
Now that was a gimmick that didn't fly, but most people should have known better.

4K isn't a gimmick just like 1080P wasn't and introduction of HD wasn't before that. It's a better resolution and better clarity and the future is headed towards improving the image we see time and time again. The point is, 4K will eventually be the standard like 1080P is now.

3D was different. You had to wear glasses and it wasn't an improved resolution. It was an old screen effect that was brought back but nobody wants to watch football like that or standard TV shows. It's cool if you're watching an animated movie with your kids, but outside of that, why else would you want 3D for?

I think by this time next year, you'll have a good amount of 4K channels on DirecTV.

For a 70" at the same price, would you get a 4K, 120hz TV or a standard HD TV 240hz?
For the same price?

Easily 4K because it can do everything all those other TVs can.

So even if 4K doesn't become the new standard, you're still going to have a TV capable of providing you with the best image possible.

By that notion, then the 12th best QB in the league is more valuable than JJ Watt.

Bills finally get on the board, and it would be a tie game if they made the missed FG and attempted a FG on the last drive.

I wouldn't go that far, but if I made a list of the best/most important players in the league, the top 5 are all easily QBs.

They are in his head. As much as their downfall makes him laugh this does the same for me.
