He even looks ashamed of himself. I guess he is still upset over Murray? :lol

Beasley has looked great in what I've seen. He may be in for a big year. Expect a lot of 3 receiver, 1 TE sets this year.
If Beasley can break out of his niche and actually become a real WR, this whole offense transforms.

I saw a couple tweets yesterday mentioning him lining up outside with Dez moving inside so sounds like they're going to at least give him a chance there

I don't think he needs to break out of a niche. I think he's going to see a shit ton of passes from Romo out of our 3 WR packages. What is obvious from the practices I saw is that Romo really likes the guy. I wouldn't be surprised if his numbers aren't right there with Terrance Williams next year. To be fair Beasley basically caught everything Romo threw at him too. For such a midget WR he has pretty damn good hands. Tiny hands, but good anyway.

Why is Beasleys niche considered a bad thing? He is very good at what he does and who is to say the guy that replaces his role can do it as well. Between him and Witten it's almost a given first down whenever Romo needs it and usually more.

Our offense transformed when they dedicated itself to running the ball.

If that were true they should have defeated the Packers.

I got fired up when Beasley broke to the corner to score in response to Romo's improvised rollout in Chicago. Then it never happened again.

The less you can do, the easier you make it for the better defenses to shut you down when it counts. If you don't threaten a defense deep, you put less pressure on their LBs and DBs.

If Beasley gets more than 15 yards on a play it's because he somehow broke free in the middle. Why can't he actually catch a 20 yard pass?

If he's getting the 20 yards anyway WGAS where he catches the ball. We have Bryant and Williams to stretch the defense.

I love how we spent a 2nd on Escobar with the idea of moving him around to create mismatches against LB's/safeties in 2 TE formations and UDFA Beasley is the one who ends up excelling in that role, generally speaking.

How nice would this team look right now if we had taken Jonathan Hankins or Bennie Logan instead of this schlub?

One of my only concerns moving forward in terms of the draft is that once Witten is retired Garrett will end up drafting a TE in the 2nd or 3rd every other year in an effort to replace him/develop that ill-fated 2 TE set. Hopefully Jerry/Stephen/McClay have seen enough of the TE in round 2 experiment and don't allow it to happen.

He was open on the "Not a Catch" play. When is he exactly not open?
