Oh, and what was up with the cop running in full bore at the beginning. That was comical looking.
I really hope that he just lost his footing and tumbled to the ground. I think that is what happened, but the first time I saw it it looked like he was trying to execute a commando roll (or whatever you want to call it). If he was trying to do a commando roll it comes off as a complete joke, like some nincompoop cop in a Police Academy movie or some other farcical comedy.

Wow, that was stupid. That dipshit asshole should lose his fucking job. That was absolutely unnecessary.

It's actually kind of sad. You see one officer being polite and normal and then suddenly you see the other one come on screen cussing and screaming and throwing people to the ground. He makes the other officers that look dumb by association even though they may actually be great officers.

That's what I meant by comical. It did look like he was trying to perform some weird combat roll of some sort. It came off looking stupid to the point of funny. Almost like I was watching Super Troopers or something.

I thought that as well. But I think he stumbled over some exposed tree roots and tried to look cool.

Yeah it was. When I watched it the first time for about 10 seconds I thought it was a joke video because of the fall/barrel roll.

Someone that was supposedly in the area when this happened posted this on FB - take it for what it's worth:

From a person actually in the area

Facebook friends and family – PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported…

A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a “pool party” for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.

This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood’s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white’s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.

The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.

I am asking for your help for my family and my neighbor’s safety…PLEASE, PLEASE do not rebroadcast any of these lies.

Texas teen says cop slammed her to ground, pulled her braids during pool party raid: ‘Him getting fired is not enough’
BY MEG WAGNER NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

A McKinney police officer is on leave after a video was posted over the weekend showing him throwing teen Dajerria Becton, pictured, to the ground and sitting on her, and drawing his gun on other teens at a pool party.
The teen who was body-slammed by a Texas cop at a graduation pool party wants to see him fired — and more changes within the force.

Video from the Friday party-turned-fight shows McKinney police Cpl. Eric Casebolt yank 15-year-old bikini-clad Dajerria Becton onto her stomach and then kneel on her as he points his gun at other partygoers.

A fight at the community pool broke out after white adults told some black partygoers to “go back to their Section 8 Housing,” the party’s host told Fox 4.

Police said they were originally called to the pool because neighbors reported that the swimmers didn’t have permission to use it. When they showed up, the partygoers refused to follow orders.

Becton said she was an invited guest at the party who had permission to use the pool. She was trying to leave the area and get away from the chaos when Casebolt approached her, she said.

The cop threw her on to the ground, rolled her over so her face was in the grass and sat on her back, video shows.

“He grabbed me, twisted my arm on my back and shoved me in the grass and started pulling the back of my braids,” Becton told the TV station. “I was telling him to get off me because my back was hurting bad.”

She struggled to get up, but Casebolt kept pinning her down, she said. The 15-year-old was eventually released when her family came to pick her up.

Casebolt has been placed on leave pending an investigation. The teen said he should lose his job and wants to see more done to prevent future police brutality.

“Him getting fired is not enough," she said.

Officers were initially called to the pool — a community facility open only to neighbors — because residents reported a group of juveniles fighting. Those teens did not have permission to be there, the callers said.

It’s not clear if the callers were referencing the group of teens at the pool for an end-of-the-school-year party.

The celebration’s host — a 19-year-old neighborhood resident named Tatiana — said her family invited a racially diverse group of friends to the poolside cookout and gave them all guest passes to swim.

While the friends were at the pool, a group of white women told the host’s black, invited guests to “go back to (their) Section 8 homes,” she said in a YouTube video after the ordeal.

Tatiana said some of the teens tried to explain that they were all either invited guests or residents, but the women continued to taunt them and ordered them to "go back to where (they're) from."

When Tatiana asked "Excuse me?" one of the women slapped her in her face, she said.

When police arrived on the scene, everyone fled, including the invited guests.

Becton said she was trying to leave the scene with the rest of the group when Casebolt grabbed her and forced her on the ground. Another neighbor claimed she saw the teen resist the cop when he tried to handcuff her, prompting his takedown.

Brandon Brooks, a 15-year-old at the party, shot video of Casebolt throwing Becton to the ground. He told Buzzfeed News that the cop only targeted minority teenagers.

“Everyone who was getting put on the ground was black, Mexican, Arabic,” said Brooks, who is white. “(The cop) didn’t even look at me. It was kind of like I was invisible.”

In the video, Casebolt pointed his weapon at some of the other teens.

“Y’all make me f--king run around here with 30 pounds of goddamn gear on in the sun, because you want to screw around out here,” Casebolt told a group of seated teens.

Video showed other cops more calmly tending to the scene.

Police said the video “raised concerns” and was being investigated.

McKinney Mayor Brian Loughmiller also found the video troubling.

“Having seen the You Tube video, I am disturbed and concerned by the incident and actions depicted in the video. Our expectation as a City Council is that our police department and other departments will act professionally and with appropriate restraint relative to the situation they are faced with,” he said in a statement.

What does any of that have to do with what that police officer did?

I totally believe things got out of hand at this party and remarks where made by all.

Oh, and I do think the situation the cop is running into does make a huge difference in how they handle it, but from what I have seen, even if there were major fights the cops were approaching there obviously wasn't any going on at present when this video was taken.

There was only the one fight, the one Booze posted.

That has been reported by everyone, it seems this cop was just pissed off.
