I honestly thought we'd get some Stephen Jones "We're not interested" bullshit.

These guys actually seem dedicated to building the team the right way..

I'm scared, hold me, Iamtdg

I would, but last time you touched me inappropriately, so I think I'll pass this time.

It's a cheap knockoff of the Legion of Doom. I guess it's supposed to mean they give room to the RBs and QB by blocking. Or some stupid shit like that.

I'd like to think this OL is good enough on their own to not have to piggyback on somebody else's nickname.

I am assuming it means that they create room in the running game and also in the pocket for the QB. Pretty damn lame. If it is inevitable that this OL will receive a nickname I hope to hell it ends up being a lot better than this one.

The pass blocking was pretty bad at times last year, let's hope they will improve on that. As well as they did in the run game they were average there and that needs to get fixed or we will have to finish the season with Weedon!! :picard

I couldn't disagree more. Our pass blocking was stellar last year. The only times teams really got pressure was when they brought more guys then we had blockers. That's on Romo in my opinion.

Yeah but how many times did our defense do that to other teams and somehow they stopped us from getting to the quarterback? And I'm talking about when they had Ware, Spencer, Ratliff, and Lee, etc, and bringing about 6 guys. I figured at least our OL could do that as highly regarded as they are. There were too many times where they were coming up the middle and the edges at the same time, remember the first Washington game? Teams just started bringing the house because they had no answer to defend it for a few games. They got better at it though. Hopefully it was because they were still young and it will be much better this year..I'm not bitching, I just would like to see that improved.

Empty backfield is the devil. Allowed the D to pin their ears back. Usually telegraphed the lack of additional blockers. All of the worst hits I saw Romo take were out of empty backfield.

And yet according to broadcast crews, the empty backfield was the most successful alignment.

Garrett/Romo have been Haslett's bitch for years now, that last game the way he had them fucked up with his Madden blitz he might as well have been Jerry Reed from the Waterboy.

At least he isn't there anymore.

That's exactly right. The reason those blitzes don't work for Dallas is because any idiot QB can throw the ball before the Blitzer gets to him when all of his WR are facing single coverage and the middle of the field is wide open. Hell against Washington all Romo had to do was throw a quick slant and Dez would have been off to the races. It's why Haslett looks like a shitty defensive coordinator against every other offense.

There are 2 ways to beat a heavy blitz. Keep in extra protection with RBs and TEs or just throw the ball quickly and burn it.
