And every projection had Ajayi in the second. Guess that says something about these "projections". More like guessing.
Projecting down is way more accurate than projecting up.

And, let's not just get hung up on Chaz freakin' Green, the 4th round pick pissed me off probably more than the 3rd.

Am I missing something? He WAS available in the 5th. Isn't that where he got picked?
So, you knew that in the 3rd while we were picking?

Oh, no, I am not saying that. Maybe I missed that part of the argument.

I just think it's pretty clear that the staff felt he was a medical risk. He was a pretty uniform 2nd round grade everywhere, then the medical stuff hits and every team passes on him till the 5th.

That is clearly a sign in my book that teams were scared away medically until one team finally pulled the trigger on a risk. That makes it hard for me to hold it against the team for not taking him earlier. I mean, if he pans out, Miami gets props, but I don't think you can say it was a singular Dallas misevaluation when clearly every team did not want any part of him in the early rounds due to the uncertainty of the knee.

Yeah, the 4th-7th rounds pretty much sucked. Unfortunately par for the course since Parcells left. Oh well, maybe eventually we'll get a real GM.

So basically there is still hope because we will be scanning the waiver wire on a regular basis.

I just saw that the Bucs did not excercise the 5th year option on RB Doug Martin.

Wonder if you could get him for a late pick. That'd be worth a shot.

Yeah, it was freak out time two days ago because we didn't get Buck fuckin' Allen or Jay Ajayi, but we don't even need to bother looking into a talented but injury prone RB in Martin.

Sounds legit.

I'm pretty sure VA was sarcastic and my Randle comment was a joke dating back to Bowen. Slow your roll

What word is that?

Or are we just talking about your negative interpretation of the draft results?
They've stated before and after the draft they are good with what we have. I could see us combing the waiver wire the next few months and even into the season. But I doubt they think it's such a big need that we see a trade for a RB.

I saw that and immediately had the same thought. They are going to have comp picks next year, why not flip a regular late pick for Martin? I would make that call right now but I doubt they do.
