So pass on the most elite propect in a deep group just cause you hope to get someone good later? Feh. If the opportunity for Gurley (if healthy) or Gordon presents itself and they are the best player, take it. DL is deep this year too. Should we pass on who we can get at 27 because of the same theory?
There isn't that much difference between the elite 2 and the guys who will go in the 2nd/3rd round after. Especially with Gurley's injury problems.

Look at last year's WR class. Was it smart for Buffalo to trade up with guys like Beckham sitting there in the first round?

I'm certainly not against Gordon. I actually really like him and would have no problem with him in the first now. Just means we aren't taking advantage of the depth in this draft.

It was about the money...is he closer to a Super Bowl in Philly? I don't think so.

This is going to blow up in someone's face...better be in Philly's. Of course I suppose Murray could have a good 3 year run in Philly while Dallas drafts a top tier RB and it's a win/win. But I doubt it'll work that way.

It's about winning a Super Bowl so he goes from a 12-4 team to a team that missed the playoffs. Go F yourself Murray.

The only nugget of truth is in the last part of that sentence... About how it's about "being fair." Yeah, the Eagles gave him the contract he felt was fair. In other words.... It's about the money.

Oh, fuck you Murray.

You took the money.....good for you. Don't go insulting our intelligence talking about it was never about the money, because if it wasn't, your bitch ass would be signing with the Cowboys right now.

Fuck you very much.

Damn right we did.

Now, the team needs to make good on this smart decision and get Hardy and maybe Cromartie, then kill it in the draft.

Fuck Murray.

Even with Murray, Philly isn't going to the playoffs. They are not better on defense and might actually be worse, and they damn sure aren't better on offense.

Bradford is not an upgrade to Foles and they have no decent receivers to throw to after losing Jackson and Maclin in successive years.

I hope he enjoys watching us win the division again.

The downside is everyone in the league knows Dallas needs and covets one of the top RB's in the draft. If Gordon or Gurley goes in the early 20's then anyone else below us that wants the other one will know to move ahead of our pick. So do we counter and move up for a RB in a deep draft?

I'd stay put in round one and hope Gurley or Gordon drop to us. If not, then we may just have to move up a tad from the late 2nd to secure our #3 option.
Yea, I'm not moving up for a back.

There's too much talent in this draft to move up for a RB, and I highly doubt both Gurley and Gordon are gone by our pick.

This pretty much locks in a Philly at Dallas early season Sunday or Monday night game, doesn't it? Murray returns to Dallas to face his old team with designs on making them pay for not respecting him. All of that bullshit that they like to try to sell as intriguing.

Probably locks us up to end the season in Philly too.

We've only ended the year in Dallas once in the last 5 years and I doubt that changes this year either.
