I think that Durant coming back may not bode well for a McClain return.

Because of money reasons or roster size?

Both. You'd have Durant, Lee, Hitchens as starters...we certainly need depth as this year proved, but I am just not sure how much money will be left for LB. I'd certainly throw a pick at the position too.

So much for getting younger and being smarter in FA. We're back to overrating players from a below average defense who are injury prone. It's like they are disappointed that our defense wasn't as bad as expected last year and want to try for that utter defensive collapse.

There's nothing wrong with bringing Durant back as cheap depth who can play all 3 LB spots, he's versatile and can start in a pinch. Now, if we go into the year with Lee, Durant, Hitchens and a bunch of slop behind them, that's a problem, but I don't see that happening.

I have a real dislike of fragile backups, that's how you end up starting guys off the street.

@CharlesRobinson: Several league sources are talking about Ndamukong Suh to #Dolphins as if it has already happened. DeMarco Murray returning to #Cowboys, too

I loved the player coming out of college, but he just gets banged up so much. We need to add some stable players to the fold.

He gets hurt every other season. He is due for a healthy season. Plus as an Iowa fan I love the player. He plays angry and he is relentless. I do wish his health was more reliable. The fact that he has missed a couple seasons already in his young career is concerning. The good news is the other two seasons he didn't miss a single game. So maybe you can chalk his 2 missed season's up to freak injuries.

Well the early tweet that had Suh signing with the Dolphins as well as Murray resigning with Dallas may be true as they clear a chunk of space.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

I hope we aren't clearing 8 mil just to turn around and hand it all to Murray. I like Murray and think he would still be a very productive back here next year but not at that price. I'd much rather that money being going to Hardy and then just draft a RB.
