This is unquestionably the worst ending to a season I have ever dealt with as a fan.

It will take a long time for me to get over this fucking shit.

Still trying to get this.

So.

The ball never touches the ground.

And it is incomplete?

Help me out here, because I am really fucking struggling here.
Well, the ball wasn't lodged firmly between his ass cheeks, so what do you expect? I'm more dumbfounded by that call than I was over the Hitchens flag being picked up against Detroit. At least there was some room for doubt in that case but having a reception overturned when the ball NEVER hit the ground and clearly resulted in possession, whether it was a TD or not is straight up, 100% BULL SHIT.

Time for me to go detox. Go Cowboys. Wait until next year. Again.

ARGH.

Meanwhile, we probably lose Linehan, Marinelli and Murray this off season. Future looking bleak.
It won't be bleak with this OL. We'd need another feature back, but get one, and we'll be fine.

Hell if we got Peterson, I'd say we'd be better.

Da Boys should take some consolation in the fact that their actual play kept them in the game. It took a BS call that took them out.

I disagree with this. We had a great run and overachieved. We lost to the refs more than the Pack. Not much you can do. I am in no way embarrassed by that loss unlike the previous 3 years.

The shitty thing is I actually think Bryant took 3 steps.

Which means that football move rule should be out the window.
I love how they claim the number of steps don't matter. So if Dez stumbles the length of the field and then falls at the end and drops the ball it isn't a catch either? I mean there is just no rhyme or reason to this bullshit. The only thing I can say is, the NFL wants Aaron Rodgers in the big games because he is the face of the NFL right now.

That's it right there.

It sucks to lose a game that we could have and probably should have won, and it's even tougher because you have so many plays to look back on that probably would have sealed it for us.

But the biggest reason why we lost is because Green Bay made more plays, and that defense's weaknesses - the lack of pass rush and poor pass coverage - finally caught up to us like most of us knew it would.

Tough loss that's gonna stung for a bit, but this was a successful and productive season and the funnest one we've enjoyed in a really long time. They built character and mental toughness that could be they key in getting to a Super Bowl next year if we can get the defensive pieces we need.

For the first time in a long time, I'm proud of my team at the end of a season, and that is what I'll remember about the 2014 Cowboys.
Even though we didn't win it all, as you mentioned, the season was enjoyable and I'd say somewhat of a success. The key is figuring out a way to build on that success.

I'd like to add another pass rusher, CB, and safety this offseason.

I just hope we don't do anything crazy like giving up two 1st round picks for a CB or DE.

Not to mention we sign Garrett to a deal only to find that it was Linehan all along that made him look good.

Its over and in spite of the disappointment the Cowboys had a great season compared to expectations. Something to build on.

I like Murray but I agree. Put a good back behind this line and a good back will put up great numbers. Build the defense, keep the O-line together and keep Dez at all costs. It's a pretty simple off season if you ask me. I'd also look for someone to back up Romo because god knows the way he holds the ball all day long he is going to get hurt again.

The problem is, it was called a catch on the field, and you can't tell for damn sure that the ball hit the ground on the replay. It was a terrible call even how the rules stand now.
Give it a break. You can see it hit the ground and the ball slide up to his shoulder pads.
