I hope he goes #3 to Jacksonville. As badly as they need OL, he's a stud and a true #1 on a good young WR core.
funny you say that, i was just talking to a friend of mine about hoping he goes to the jets. I dont think the jets are going to find the QB they want in this years draft. Doubt they take Jameis Winston. I guess depending on who the new coach is

Normally I'd agree, but the last time I wanted a UT player in the draft it was 2001 and I wanted Shaun Rogers (we passed on him twice to draft Quincy and Tony Dixon). I'd be interested in Malcom Brown in the low first.

I agree. I think a year under Strong will help as well.

Yep, Strong doesn't seem like the type to run a country club program, plus Texas has produced the best safety in the league and one of the better LB's in the league in Earl Thomas and Derrick Johnson. Not to mention guys like Melton, Orakpo, Robison, Michael Griffin, Lamarr Houston and Alex Okafor.

Texas has actually done a pretty nice job of putting defensive players in the league recently.

I like a great many of the underclassmen this year.

Breshad Perriman - WR - UCF

Pros - Big, strong, good straight line speed, great hands, good bloodlines, potential to be an elite playmaker in a Brandon Marshall mold

Cons - Lacks concentration, will make the tough catch and blow the easiest, not great quickness so will only work on the outside. Won't do well in slot or as return man.

UCF’s leading receiver Breshad Perriman entering NFL Draft

Posted by Kevin McGuire on January 12, 2015, 4:22 PM EST

The UCF Knights will need a new go-to receiver in 2015. Breshad Perriman has announced his decision to leave UCF a year early to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft. The school released a brief statement confirming and announcing the decision for Perriman to turn pro.

“I met with Breshad on Sunday. After discussing it with his family, he informed me he of his plans to enter the Draft,” UCF head coach George O’Leary said. “I wish him the best of luck and I hope everything works out for him.”

Perriman was fourth in the American Athletic Conference in 2014 with 1,044 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Perriman was just one of four receivers in the conference to record 1,000 receiving yards this season, and his average receiving yards per reception of 20.88 ypr were second most in the AAC behind Cincinnati’s Chris Moore (22.43 ypr).

Perriman is hoping to become UCF’s first wide receiver drafted by an NFL team since Mike Walker in the 2007 NFL Draft (Jacksonville Jaguars, third round). Last year’s draft saw former UCF teammate quarterback Blake Bortles drafted in the first round and running back Storm Johnson selected in the seventh round. Both Bortles and Johnson were drafted by the Jaguars.

He hasn't made an official announcement, but reports are coming out that Jacoby Glenn, CB, UCF has declared.

He was being projected as a 1st round pick in next years draft, so I don't know where he will be projected this year. If we can get him in the 2nd or 3rd, I'd be all over it.

Almost surely gone by our pick but hopefully will push some other talent down to us. Would love to add a guy like that to the D-line.

There was speculation about Ronnie Stanley from ND going pro but he's returning for his last year of eligibility.
