My Dad is a vet and I hope to take him when we get back home to Texas. I here great things about it. One of the local hosts, Mark Davis had an interview a week or 2 ago with the guys son and it was very cool.Do yourself a favor and go watch Unbroken.
Sometimes it pays to know when to run.Just know when to walk away LT!

There's time enough for counting now.I was going to go with Gladiator, but good call
I like PTA...Boogie Nights is a classic, but this new movie does not appeal to me. Just seems odd and lots of overacting in the trailers I've seen.I'm really looking forward to Inherent Vice. The book was written by one of my favorite writers so I'm a bit leery of it being made into a movie, but in Paul Thomas Anderson I trust. Joaquin Phoenix seems like he should be a pretty good choice for the main character (and likewise Josh Brolin seems like a good choice for the character that is sort of the nemesis of the main character).
Has anyone seen the new Hobbit? I plan on catching it soon since I've seen all the others but not sure I'm expecting too much. They're really milking everything they can out of those stories.
Yeah, and I thought they ended it okay. I can't go into too much detail without spoiling it for you, but it was good.Yeah
I was bored...but I was bored with the 2nd movie too.Has anyone seen the new Hobbit? I plan on catching it soon since I've seen all the others but not sure I'm expecting too much. They're really milking everything they can out of those stories.

I was not bored with the second one at all. But, I do agree that they might have been able to condense it down into two movies. I don't think there is any way you take it down to one and get everything from the books that's needed to do it justice.I was bored...but I was bored with the 2nd movie too.
Cut out half of all those movies and you have one really well made Hobbit movie. But Jackson is a money grubbing whore.
I was like that for a long time, but I recently re watched the original trilogy a month ago. Twin Towers still sucks in a major way, but the first and third were well done. Just too long.I did not like any of the LOTR movies...wish I did because they are kinda cool, but just never cared for them.
I am going to go sometime in the next couple of weeks. I read quite a few of those Tolkien books as a kid and was a big fan of the animated movies made in the 1970s based on them. I've seen all of the LOTR and Hobbit movies put out so far so for sure will watch this one. Mostly they've been pretty good, IMO, but sometimes they tend to drag a bit and can get cheesy at times.I agree with Deuce but I also think that you have to go see it if you watched the other two. Just have to finish it.
I did enjoy the first 15 minutes or so, but after that it was just meh to me. I like Martin Freeman a lot so I was looking for ways to like the movies as a whole, I just think they used too much fluff and made up their own crap to force 3 movies.I am going to go sometime in the next couple of weeks.
