I havent seen much discussion about resting starters next week. We need GB/Det to tie, so Id rest our starters
Can't rest them without risking potential to Bye, home field, etc. They will play the starters.

Do you really want to continue down this path.

It's not a good look.
He's not wrong. There were tons here who had him done this year... especially after the SF game.

If Arizona and Seattle both lose do we automatically get the second seed regardless of what Dallas does?
Not sure, but if we win and they both lose, we get the 2 seed at least.

Good enough reason to try to win the game, since it's at 1, and the other games are at 4.

I think if Arizona and Seattle both lose then Seattle wins their division. It would be a two way tie between Dallas and Seattle for the number 2 seed and we should have the tie breaker. That's because either Green Bay or Detroit wins their division at 12-4 unless they tie.

Funny how he went and got pass-happy Linehan probably thinking if he has to bring in someone he'll just bring in a mirror-image of himself. but then wham...Linehan commits to the run first and we take off.
It was especially amusing earlier in the year when some announcer mentioned how this offense is finally taking shape into what Garrett envisioned when he was hired. BS...Garrett had since '07 to show what he had and it was always pass-pass-pass at the first sign of trouble. This offense has zip to do with Garrett other than he picked Linehan not knowing Linehan would play to the strengths of the team and run with this line and DM rather than have Romo sling it around all day. Finally a balanced attack, something JG knows nothing about.
Too funny.

I think you are right.

With no GB/Det tie the North winner is 12-4 and top seed.

In the Seattle/AX both lose scenario Seattle takes the West at 11-5 based on head-to-head tiebreaker

If Dallas loses to Washington to also go 11-5 the only tie breaker in play is head-to-head vs Seattle, which Dallas won. So if both Seattle and AZ lose, we are the second seed automatically.

We still need to play hard in case GB/Det tie. Our game is first, before all of them. 11-4-1 still beats 11-5.

So we are likely playing Detroit. Not sure how I feel about that. I don't know that it's a good matchup.

Seems like the only chance we have at the bye is if Arizona and Seattle lose. The Detroit-GB game doesn't seem to matter, other than the wild-card matchups for us.
I could see them both losing this will be like a Superbowl for the Rams and Arizona is starting Thomas.

If the 49ers can't beat the Cardinals' 4th stringer, Logan Thomas...well, then.
