I knew you and Iam were going to be the first 2 to go into full homer mode.:lol

Not mad at you but since 2007 I have learned to keep the pom poms in check, that loss was just too painful.:sad
I am a huge homer at heart. It's just that my heart blackened so bad over the years that I went full opposite in my feelings about the team. But, because I am truly a homer deep down it only takes a little winning and hope for a championship to bring it out in full force. And right now it is raging inside of me. :unsure

The tough thing about that game was we were coming off such a miserable preseason and Romo looked horrendous. I was nervous at that point that maybe Romo's career was done. Thankfully that wasn't even close to being the case. Romo just had a lot of rust to shake off.

That guy is such a badass. Huge, huge addition to the team. So damn physical. I would imagine that pure physicality combined with those crazy eyes really does put a little bit of fear into opposing offenses.

Hopefully they can bring McClain back next season, but if not it has been a pleasure to watch him play this season.
I hope they bring him back too...and hopefully he can show Lee how to be a man. :tippytoe

I believe every anti-Garrett poster here (including myself) has given him credit for what you just in the past few weeks or months. I do think and I believe it was/has been reported that he was told to get an OC. Now I do think he had the choice as to who it was and kudos for that. I just cant give him "tons" of credit for the team doing things that he couldnt get them to do when he was running the show solo.
Funny how he went and got pass-happy Linehan probably thinking if he has to bring in someone he'll just bring in a mirror-image of himself. but then wham...Linehan commits to the run first and we take off.
It was especially amusing earlier in the year when some announcer mentioned how this offense is finally taking shape into what Garrett envisioned when he was hired. BS...Garrett had since '07 to show what he had and it was always pass-pass-pass at the first sign of trouble. This offense has zip to do with Garrett other than he picked Linehan not knowing Linehan would play to the strengths of the team and run with this line and DM rather than have Romo sling it around all day. Finally a balanced attack, something JG knows nothing about.

I have told you all what a flaming homer I used to be back in the day.

Still a little distrustful, but it is bubbling up.

I admit I was dead wrong on the McClain signing. They hit a home run on that one. And he is a must sign in the offseason.
I think we all ridiculed the McClain trade because of his history. Hell, most of us were seriously pissed that we "threw away" a draft pick for him. And at the time the skepticism was completely justifiable.

The homerism is thick in this joint today. I got a little misty eyed earlier.

We may never get you back from this homer trip...
You're right, there may be no coming back from this. For now I'm going to buckle up and hold on for the ride. #FINISHTHEFIGHT :towel
