Really? I saw it and thought it was good, but not great.

I thought it was a very original story, great casting and acting (especially by gyllenhall). It was two hours long and I didn't even think about what time it was even once... I usually do when I'm in the theatre.

The timing of the release is perfect considering what's been going on in this country. And it is a great caricature of the Orlando news. Stabbings and shootings, film at 11.

I agree with everything you say here. I guess it was just the "best movie of the year" part that threw me.

I got it from Redbox one time and my kids were bugging me, so I stopped watching. Caught it on Netflix and I agree...great movie.

Watched Wolf of Wall Street...another good one.
