The Bears need a sturdier hand at HC than what they have now. Trestman seems like a Norv type coach to me.

One more Bears point...that franchise has always been about running and defense...this team is an abomination to that city.

We better not lose to them because they are in a free fall, and by the time we see them in 4 weeks, they shoud be in complete quit mode.....although, it looks like they're already there.

Apparently, Beasley told a Cowboy fan on Twitter to eat a dick when the fan called him out on fumbling. :lol
I've called for him to me more involved because I want to see the ball spread around, but I'd love to see either Street moved to the slot or go draft a guy who is made to operate there.

Don't care so much about the one fumble, but his reaction after, his look in the lockerroom when everyone was happy during Garrett's post game speech and then this just irks me. It makes me think he still doesn't have the right mindset and will eventually walk out on his team like he did previously.

I think Street must be blowing up in practice...they always seem to try get him a look or two a game.

I'd like to think they are in quit mode going into our game, but they have 3 very winnable games ahead of them. I can easily see them getting back on track and be the team we expected come our meeting.

The bears beat us in the most embarrassing fashion every time we play. We aren't going to beat them

If it weren't for that bullshit PI call, he would have had a really nice grab yesterday. I have hopes for him becoming a solid #3, maybe even decent #2 if we get really lucky.

He will have his shot at #2 in a few years when Terrance leaves.

Jay Cutler definitely deserves his share of the blame but Bears fans should be pointing fingers and burning the jerseys of defensive players as well.

The Bears giving up 50 in back to back games is not a Cutler problem. That's on the defense.

Hell even if Cutler played a respectable game and puts up 3 TDs and only 1 INT, that's still a 30 point ass whipping because the defense is piss poor.

Cutler is a problem but he's not the biggest problem.

I have to give the Browns props...I really thought they looked lost this offseason and just kind of settled on Pettine. He has been outstanding, the team has been solid, and playing Hoyer over Manziel has worked perfectly. I like that team quite a bit right now.

Their defense is horrible but to an extent its a little like our defense last year. When you pass, pass, pass and then punt non stop it puts a ton of pressure on your defense. Especially when you mix some INTs in there.

The Bears have some serious talent on offense but they basically have nothing going for them on defense. That whole team is a dumpster fire right now and QBs always get the majority of the blame that happens.

If we lose to the Bears, then the Cowboys are truly pretenders.

The Bears look horrible in just about every aspect of the game...QB is terrible, the D players are playing with little to no effort, and the team as a whole looks like it is ready to quit.

The Packers may have given them the excuse to go ahead and tank the rest of the season.

Imo, it's foolish to label a team based off one game. Anything can happen during one game. One week, a team beats the shit out of a good team, only to lose to a bad one. Or vice versa.

Were we truly contenders after going in to Seattle and man handling them? Or were we truly pretenders after losing to the Redskins at home?

I'm betting if you wanted to, you could go through pretty much anybody's schedule at the end of the year and pick out those same team defining games for them.

I don't care about the pretenders or contenders label either. We lost to the Skins and that sucks, but if the season ended today we'd pretend our way to the playoffs.

No, the fact is if this team has a shot of doing anything noteworthy in the playoffs, then it needs to dispatch teams like the Bears, Giants, and Redskins when those teams have absolutely zero to play for in the last games of the season.

That's what playoff caliber teams do headed towards the end of the season.

And to be honest...this team had some warts pop up after getting beat by the Redskins -at home- QB'ed by Colt McCoy.

Were you saying the same things in '95 when our superbowl winning team was getting swept by the 6-10 Redskins? And that second win was in December, when the skins only had 3 wins. According to your criteria, the Cowboys should have been gearing up for the playoffs, while the skins should have been packing for the offseason.

Sometimes teams lose to teams they shouldn't. And that's all I was saying. And to label them a contender or pretender because one game is stupid.

Gonna root hard for an Eagles loss. Would be a bonus if it came off a Sanchez Butt Fumble.
