Not really.

Teams will blitz the shit out of Romo from here on out and unless Linehan adjusts, there will be more games like this one was,
Thought I covered that with pass protection.

Radio says Tony Romo's dad had to drive Romo home from the stadium. This back isn't looking good.
Hey may not be out for the season, but I knew he wasn't just going to be fine either.

I'm guessing he'll play next week, but have the same pain and throwing issues he had when he messed up his ribs a few years ago.

I didn't even know his dad was at the game. According to the broadcast, I assumed McCoy's parents were the only people in the stadium.

Murray is fumbling almost every game. Yet, apparently, this is forgivable. He cost us a minimum of 3 points today. The same nonsense happens almost every week.
Totally agree. I have no idea how everyone seems to just forget about it happening every week, and continue to ride his dick. Not only does he fumble way too much, but he fumbles in the red zone which double-fucks us. I don't care how many 100yard games he's had, fumbling like this is inexcusable.

I'm more concerned with his head than I am about his back. He was in a fog even before the backwhack. The blitzes had him acting ike a spooked cat..

Fumbled on the outlet pass in OT, too.

Just gotta hope this is a one game letdown. If they come back strong against Arizona I will believe again. With how we play-called and executed last night it's really hard to right now.

The only positive to come from last night is that it guarantees they'll be fully focused this week for Arizona.

We've been sloppy for 5 straight weeks so I'm hoping the renewed focus will lead to a game with no turnovers and no shooting ourselves in the foot.

Nobodys forgetting it, but what other recourse do we have? Romo throwing it 50 times?

Lost in all the furor, Murray's stat line:

19 carries for 141 yards, a 7.4 average.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

I blame Linehan, Callahan and Garrett for not adjusting to the all out blitz they thru at Romo. Bottom line, you bring that many people, someone is open somewhere, especially if the route is a hot read and is 3-4 yards in front of the QB.

Romo and Murray had a couple of those where its was a 3 yard pass and Murray turned it into a 20 yard gain. Why did they go away from that?

It's just infuriating. Absolutely infuriating.

It's the 4th quarter/overtime. The defense is as fatigued as it is going to get. You have 2 great examples of him running for 8+ yards a clip from the shotgun backed up against your endzone, and at the 20. The running game has been your bell cow all year. Your injured QB who just took a pain shot to his back and oh by the way wasn't exactly lighting up the universe with his blitz reads anyway staggers on to the field.

And you make the decision that you are going to, yet again, force him to try to carry the team. Even after he is blitzed and fumbles on his first pass attempt. Even after his first pass is almost picked.

It's beyond comprehension. Like willful ignorance.
