Someone on twitter is claiming Free came back into the game for the victory formation. Anyone notice him? That would be a good sign for his injury.
Did they do the Landry thing again? I missed it.

Thank god the Giants took Pugh before we did, I never liked him coming out and he has been shitty.

Cautious optimism is all i can have right now. Then again, I didn't get to see the game.

Last week, (after not getting to watch the game) I said if we could just hang with Seattle this week, then I would believe. Called the battered wife syndrome or whatever but now I want to make sure we don't get too full of ourselves next week against a division opponent. We need that game more that we needed today's game.

I promise I'm not trying to be a wet blanket. Like I said, I didn't get to see the game and that probably would have made the difference.

I think it would have made a difference if you saw the game. We really controlled the game except for a couple of special teams miscues that led directly to 14 points for them.

I can't be totally free of reservations because of what this team has done in the past, including just how bad this defense was only last year with much of the same personnel (they even looked shitty in the preseason) but they are just playing nothing like that right now.

They look legit; I'll believe they actually are, however, when they are playing in the divisional round.

When we fumbled the punt and the snap miscommunication I had flashbacks of the past few seasons. Play well, then shit the bed. Instead, we play like a team supremely confident in what they could do. Saw maturity on both sides of the ball.

Harris muffed a punt and they had a very short field for a TD. Next drive was a miscue by Frederick and snapped they ball before Romo was ready. Another short field and defense held. Defense played lights out. Terrance Williams made an incredible catch on 3rd and 20 to extend the game winning drive. Murray went into beastmode for a TD.

We had the momentum going into half. They took it back but this team fought back even after the crowd got back into it. Just amazing to watch the defense play today.
Thanks for taking the time for the quick summary. Much appreciated.

I wouldn't be particularly happy with 7-3 going into the bye but I wouldn't be totally pissed either, 10 wins probably gets us in at least as a wild card but we could set ourselves up nicely to win the division over the next 4 games.

As a completely random aside, if McClain is able to maintain his sanity I'd take him over Lee, even if Lee were to be healthy. He was thought of as a better talent coming out of the draft and he brings a physicality and nastiness that the defense has lacked for a while. With that said, a combination of Lee and McClain is obviously a tenuous situation considering Lee's fragility and McClain's issues but if they could both stay on the field, we probably have the best LB corps in the league.

One thing I did not like...Wilcox wanted no part of Lynch on that one long run.

Melton was good today...couple hots on Wilson and a batted ball. He'll get better further along.

Full Metal Homer booze coming soon to a town near you.
All caps, a non-sarcastic exclamation point and was so excited to post, you didn't look up a pic or gif.

ya, we're on the precipice of Homer Booze.
Yea. We are all in the same dream.
I am scared.

Someone...hold me.
Dez with the mother hen move getting players off the field. Fucking love it.
Some people who will want to remain nameless asked that I remove the Flair smilies.
Yeah me too. Fuck you, booze.
Get points on this drive, bitches.
;golfclap
Damn, our OL is kicking ass.
THAT was huge.

Nice!
:towel

On Sherman too.

Nice!
Ah fuck it.
Damn, amazing how a good drive can just go to shit.
No killer instinct on that last drive. They were begging to be slain.
And then, it begins.
Shitty work from Wilcox.
Wait, that was Jeff Heath. He is out there. Like in base packages?
Jeff Heath has beautiful eyes
Wow.

Outstanding defense!
That was an incredible mistake that honestly, will doom this team.

Fuck you Harris.

You can't do that shit.
Weak return, loser.

I would have taken him of return units.
This game is over.

Thanks to Harris.

Amazing how momentum rolls.
They worked a whole half to get the mo and the crowd out.

Gone now.
This whole team has a case of the yips.

They cannot handle success.

And that means, quite certainly, they are losers.
OMIGAWD MONEY
OMIGAWD MONEY
Fuckin' Harris.

I still am smarting about that muff.
Good pickup.
Beautiful to Dez.
HOLY SHIT!
I hate it that we need the HOLY SHIT.
If this is good, we can go back to real mode and that means mash them and chew up the clock.
Ram it up their ass now.
Yeah, like that.
Ah shit, Free.

That means we see that stiff Parnell.
I am hyperventilating in a bag here.
This is so sweet. Damn.

Recognize.
Seriously.

We give them another chance.
Outstanding!
Now, my goal is to stay awake long enough for the Walking Dead.

Wow, I am so proud of this team.

First time I can legitimately say that in a long while.
I love you all.

~weeping uncontrollably~
This feels so good.
Damn, this win is so damn good.

Usually, I am taking a shit or taking out the trash by now.
Are you kidding?

We are unstoppable!
I am still verklempt at the moment.
Wowzer....

Romo really impressed the hell out of me today. He made some serious plays at crucial times. I always thought he could be really good with a running game to lean on and the freedom to make plays without having to panic and try to win by himself.

It seems like he finally has a team around him where he doesn't have to do it all.

That 3rd and 20 play. Wow. Total pimp mode and probably the catch of the year.

I'm trying so hard to not homer out. It's so, so hard not to but I have to stick to my guns. We may very well be a contender but we've still got flaws that prevent us from being championship caliber.unless the stars align perfectly.

No and I mean no way did I think we would be 5-1 nearing the midpoint of the season, especially after the Niner game.
