Drops and too many deep passes, IMO. Get that high percentage stuff and be happy.

Kingsbury needs to revamp his offensive schemes. Tech is still running the same old stuff that Leach installed. OSU changed up the pass rush and shut it down. It was successful for a portion of the first half though.

Yeah, I've already read article that infer that he might be losing the locker room. But, in my opinion, the ones he has kicked off the team deserved it, so those he loses in the locker room he probably doesn't want anyway.
I don't get the "lose the locker room" arguement in college football. Guys come and go so quickly in the program that once he gets his recruits in there that have already bought into his system, suddenly the locker room will rally around him again.

The only guys he's probably lost are the hold overs from Mack's days that have been coddled their whole lives.

No. Kliff just needs better talent to pull it off.

I'm not agreeing with it, just stating what I have read.

It will get there. It's just going to take a few years.

I knew Texas was not going to be good this year, but I bet they make a big jump next year. The guys that are off the squad probably did not want to be there...and the ones left will have a season to buy into the program. They were coddled far too long under Mack Brown and Texas just became a very soft school. I was impressed with the effort and attitude of the team in the UCLA game...that defense was flying around.

Not really. Watch a WSU game and then get back in the thread to share. That is an offense that hasn't changed.

I honestly don't know what game you were watching but the ball not moving had very little to do with OSU at all. Besides missed opportunities, up disciplined players, dropped passes, turnovers and 18, yes 18 penalties the scheme is fine.

I don't see how you can think the offense was a problem when you do all of those things, put up 500 yards of offense and 35 points on the road yet the offensive scheme is the problems, gramps. What are you thinking here.

The dropped passes and penalties were fucking pissing me off last night. Kliff was quoted as saying he has never seen a team shoot themselves in the foot as much as the team he watched last night.

It was horrific. Easily winnable game and we butt fingered ourselves. Then gramps shows up with this scheme nonsense...come on!

While that sounds rough at any time, with your size fingers it would be dreadful.

I was so defeated last night I wouldn't have resisted being fisted. Depression is a real thing.

When they got in Webb's face he became less effective on his passes. They took him out of his comfort zone enough to stop some of their drives.

I don't know if Hocutt wants to hear that.
Once again you are mistaken. Kliff has a pretty long leash at this point.

Back to the point though...how bout that scheme? Pretty bad, huh? It is pretty much the same as the one that WVU runs. The team that you said would win a bunch of games. Aaaaand the same one that Aggroids run. Should they change theirs?

The oline is the one bright spot on the team. He was rushed some but nothing to overly crazy. He did make dumb mistakes but tell me how that's scheme related.

Don't care for Webb at this point. Hope he improves but right now hope we can get better there. Maybe a case of too much expectations on my part, though.
