The problem is not with the player.

It is how this staff will use the player. When your clueless owner decides he wants to practically pass around a piece of paper for them to sign saying it won't be the "same old, same old", that should bother you.
Only one NFL team has been able to successfully use two TEs and it is a team with basically shit WRs. With Dez, Austin, Witten and now even Williams. I can't imagine Escobar is going to be seeing many balls. Nothing personal against the player but unless Witten is retiring in a year it is a waste.

I think the Escobar pick is a move to give Witten some relief during the season. He is bound to start running down some.

In this case, he isn't any good and hence, available.

We aren't taking a backup here.

He will have to start a game at some point this year.
I know. I'm just effing with you. So true about starting because DeMarco can't stay healthy.

I remember in the days before Twitter when Peppi Zellner talked about what he was going to unleash on the NFL.

I dunno, I like Holloman and I am rooting for him.

I like the Holloman pick, he's a good fit and shores up our LB depth.

Overall this seems like a C+ draft to me.
I was just about to post my grade. I go C+ as well.

I like the pick too, don't take my comment for not liking the player. I do. He is a hard nosed player. He will be the perfect sub for Sims on the weak side.

Cowboys knew about DUI arrest of DeVonte Holloman before drafting him. However he wasn't asked about it during interview process.

Sub?

He will beat out Concussion Man in no time.

I guess that explains why he went from a top 150 pick to where he ended up.

I don't see where a single DUI is a big deal.

Now if it has happened several times, I think there is an issue.

Hell, we had a player kill his teammate and still be allowed on the sidelines.
