Must See Movies

I watched the Saved by the Bell movie on Lifetime last night.

Lark Voorhies was my high school celeb crush so I had to watch. Don't judge me.

The director(s) needs his ass whipped for besmirching the name of Zack Morris. They cast some 5'2" twerp to play The Zack Morris. Zack was a stud, a Bayside legend, and an athletic freak. The kid Lifetime had playing Zack was shorter than Screech and looked like a loser with a bad blonde wig.
:lol

I missed it but I plan to see it. I yearn for Kelly Caposski.

She always has. I prefer to think of her as she was in the lingerie in The Ladies Man.
At least Kelly has aged well. Even Jesse has developed into a nice MILF. But Lisa looks strange and terrifying on most days. Always wearing too much makeup or some strange combination of makeup.

I seem to remember reading something about her having some sort of mental condition.

I have no fucking idea what Saved By The Bell is.

I have heard pop culture references to "Screech" or whatever, but sorry, never watched that shit.

It might have been something so idiotic I just totally ignored it.

I guess it depends on your age. I was about 13 when the show originally aired and all of its stars were around my age. It was THE show on Saturday mornings for teens and pre-teens back in the early 90s.

Don't you dare pretend that you never watched Saved by the Bell. You probably had a 'Zack Attack' poster over your bed.
No I did not. Although all of my kids (oldest currently 27) watched it incessantly. So I know quite a bit about the show due to osmosis. It was ALWAYS on.

My HS crushes were Farrah Fawcett and Cheryl Ladd. And, yes I did have:

On the wall of my room

My son had that poster on his wall when he was a teenager. I saw it every day for years.

Every male teenager had that poster in the 1970s.

Except Bob. Farrah's magnificent nipples frightened him.

Probably not that far away in remaining years.
That just means you can get away with more stuff. You get the built in excuse of "that's just grandpa and he's old and a bit senile."

I've already started developing that attitude towards me. :p
