Yes indeedy.

Glad we were able to get a shooter. They were eyeing Mike Miller but it's looking like Miller is likely heading to Cleveland to play with Lebron.

Morrow is a fave of mine on the NBA 2K series too...so he is legit.

Same with Martell Webster.

Rockets get Ariza.

I think they would have been better off with Deng.

Don't sleep on Ariza.
Solid player, but he isn't the offensive player Deng is.

And while Ariza is a good defender, so is Deng.

Deng is the better player who can help a team more, and he should have been target over Ariza.

I'm not really in love with the Bulls signing Gasol but it's a pretty good signing. My problem with it is that it is just further fortification for a current strength, and of course that Gasol is somewhat injury prone. We still lack a wing who can take pressure off Rose by putting the ball on the floor and creating, and that will be the ultimate reason that we don't win it all.

It is an interesting signing though because it gives us the best group of big men in the league. I think the Bulls are basically the Grizzlies on crack right now, which isn't too bad considering what they have done the last 2 years. Like Memphis with Gasol/Randolph we have a dominant group at the 4/5 with a DPOY in Noah, Gasol, Gibson and Mirotic, and could potentially just grind teams into submission with that group.

Their wings are good defensively but don't score or create much with Allen, Prince and Lee while we have Butler, Dunleavy and McDermott, and then of course the major difference is Rose if he returns to form in comparison to Conley.

Houston will not match the $46M Dallas offer sheet for Chandler Parsons, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Hate to lose Parsons for nothing but Ariza is much better defensively and cost half as much, would of of rather gotten Deng.

We still have 10 million in cap room so Monroe and Bledsoe could still be in play which would really round out the team.

Yea, I wanted Deng for Houston too, but at least they didn't match for Parsons.

I'm happy to see him go to my Mavs, but I'm Also glad Houston didn't hurt their cap space for next year out of desperation.

I really hope the Mavs try and trade for Rondo at some point as has been rumored for a while now.

What are you going to give up for him, Dallas has nothing Boston would want.

Talk about a crazy swing in emotions for the Rockets and their fans.

First it looked like Bosh was a virtual lock.

Then it sounded as if they'd not only sign Bosh but also match the Mavs' offer on Parsons.

Now they have neither and only have Ariza to show for it.

Houston took a step back this offseason. They'll probably still make the playoffs but I see them as a 7th or 8th seed now.

OKC still has a little cap room. I'm hoping that they go after either Mike Miller or Ray Allen. I'm assuming both of those guys are on the Cavs' radar and OKC should target whoever doesn't end up in Cleveland.

Probably wishful thinking on my part.

lets face it the real improvement has to come Harden and Howard for this team to make the next step, I think Parsons is a bit overrated by a lot of people IMO adding Ariza should be a lateral move at worse and could help the team more because he is a much better defender.

Not gonna lie I really wanted Bosh but looking at how tight we would have been against the cap, we would have had nothing else bench wise and would have had to give up T jones and Montejuvus, I think Jones still has some upside.

I think the San Antonio method is better build a deep bench around your start players instead of loading up your starting 5 and nothing else.

The San Antonio method only works when the best players don't want to be maxed out financially. Otherwise someone like Diaw doesn't sign there.

That's true, but they used that money wisely to get better players and did not throw it at another all star.

I think the big 3 thing has run its course, don't see too many other players taking below market deals to team up anymore.
