Yeah, I mentioned that in my edit/add on the last post. And why I asked for clarification earlier. I missed the connection.
You are a bulldog. Hell's bells.

Mentally he is either ready to play now or he isn't. It won't take long to find out.
I would encourage our big boys up front to smack him around and put a hurt on him. If if makes it past that without going bonzo and is making plays, good for him. He is still a knuckle head kid. Some take longer than others to grow up. I hope he has started the transition to manhood.

He was psychotic, and worse satisfied Jerry at the position.

The "success" with Spellman (despite his open fighting on the field) led Jerry to sign that waste of space Dimitrius Underwood.

To top it all off he broke Greg Ellis' leg.

The net take from getting him was negative and contributed to he team going 5-11.
I've said it before. Ellis was a Strahan-type player before breaking his leg.

No, he wasn't.

There is no way a cry baby like Ellis would ever approach Strahan level.

He was a dominant force that year and had 2 90+ yard td returns.

He was never the same after the injury.

I do think Ellis was a much more explosive player before the broken leg. Also, after the broken leg he tended to get six sacks in the first 8 games and finish with 8, consistently wearing down late in the year. I think before the leg injury he was a Jim Jeffcoat type talent and afterwards he was more of a Tony Tolbert.

Willie Blade was a Warren Sapp-type player before shitting his pants.

He was never the same after that.

I thought that was John Nix? Willie was the Mad Shatter.
You're probably right . It's been a while, but they were drafted the same year I think.

Please recap. I'm unaware of this story.
I don't remember what it was, exactly. He crapped himself during training camp, or something like that. Maybe somebody else remembers it better.

Him and Todd "Piss your pants" Pinkston should get together.
