Jerry also said Manziel is the best player in the draft so of course he will have a position of prominence on our draft board, now if that means they'll take him if he drops or figure it generates a trade partner for him who knows

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

That's pretty much the response now when any of those three idiotic clowns we have at the top of the organization open their stupid mouths.

That is just Jerry code for "don't count on it".

Man, all it takes is one of these things to remind me that we are, and will remain, eternally fucked.

Only our GM would consider JFF the best player in this draft...

He believes this because..."The Romo Factor" has yielded so much significant success all these years? That one playoff win is really worth hanging your hat on (well, 2 playoff wins using Wade math), especially since the guy is now 34 years old coming off of back surgery.#muricle

I don't know why anyone is surprised about the organization's position on the qb position. It has been evident to me all along that Jones is taking an all Romo position for the immediate (3 year) future. That will not change until such time as Romo cannot stand up and suit up. That just the way it is. When Romo falls and cannot rise again then Jones will make a move to replace him. I would like to see some activity in at least the third round but I doubt it will happen because of the acquisition of Weeden.

Who is it that you think is surprised? I highly doubt that anyone who has followed the team closely for years falls into that category.
