Hatcher Signs With Redskins

So Hatcher finally figured it out last year in a 4-3 and has taken the highest bid to go to a 3-4. Makes sense if you're after a big payday, as he admitted to late in the season.

As far as Spencer goes, who even knows if his knee will hold up? We've gambled enough on the guy for the last few years.

It's time to rebuild this defense and forget about signing these old guys who we've always hoped would one day "get it".

Spencer is 30 and won't even be ready for training camp, there's no reason to think he will ever be anything close to what he was in 2012 again.

We can slap high fives about this, but Wash will be better with Hatcher and better with Spencer...if healthy.
That's a big if. And becomes less likely over time if they give these guys multi-year deals.

Still, they are better players than they had for sure. But at the end of the day, it doesn't scare me. Those guys couldn't turn our defense into a stud unit, I don't think they're gonna turn the 4-12 Redskins into instant contenders. And they are too old to be long term pieces.

At $27.5M you'd think that the guaranteed would be around $10M

It's more than he made with the Cowboys in total.

Once again, a team over pays and will never see the full return on investment (ROI).

Not a smart way to run your business....

I didn't know what you meant exactly, but after you put (ROI) after return on investment, well that cleared everything up.

So a n00b comes in, drops an f bomb while bringing limited original thought?

Sure sign of a poster who will probably be dead on arrival (DOA).

Whatever. I don't jump on the everything sucks bandwagon so I must be an "loyalist."

Sorry that I like to look at things as they happen, not just assume that everything is shit.

I am fully aware that Jerry Jones have screwed this club over for a good 10 years.

But if I see that some things have been better over the last 3 years, I'm some kind of enabler.

Get an original thought.....

Assumptions based on the last 20 years of decision making.

The bigger issue is that you are a moron...your take regarding FA was idiotic. Then the ROI abbreviation...seriously, WTF does add to you post? Clearly you are an important guy with many leather bound books...probably have a closet full of blazers with patches on the elbow.
