The loss of life is sad. And I honestly wish this incident never happened and the lady was still alive.
It's also sad that Mr. Waltz has encourage this type of dangerous behavior that has led to the loss of her life. Like in what fucking world is it a good idea to pull your car out in the middle of the road to block an ICE Agent. And in what world do you think you can just hop on the gas and escape ICE. Do you really think you're going to get away. But no, dumbasses in this world encourage that behavior. I don't think she intentionally was trying to run that officer over. But I do think she thought she was going to somehow escape Bonnie and Clyde style and didn't realize she was going to slam the gas while pointing directly at an officer.
Correct.
The media, the politicians, and really, REALLY - social media echo chambers - are promoting this absurd behavior as a civic duty of resistance against fascism.
Nothing has changed after Trump was shot at, after Kirk was murdered, after Luigi Mangione killed a CEO. Everything is acceptable to resist the fascists. That is the mainstream narrative running around ANY social media outlet. You name it. Reddit, facebook, NextDoor, whatever. Seriously take ten seconds. Find any political related thread and look at the discourse.
Well, when you choose violence you get violence back.
This is a main stream belief among MILLIONS of Americans these days: Resisting the Trump administration or Republicans/Conservatives by FORCE IF NECESSARY is an acceptable outcome.
